No wayyy, ive recently started following your journey and knew you were Mexican American but had no idea your family was from Texas. I was born in Helsinki Finland but when I was six months old my family and I moved to Austin Texas. I moved back to Finland 6 years ago to take advantage of this amazing place and finally try to learn Finnish and connect to my Finnish roots.💗 I miss my family (and the food lol) that is in Texas so much, so to see your family in Finland I can kinda live through your surreal experience, I hope to one day have the same happen! @@diving.deep. What Chachi’s mom made in the video is caldo de arroz con pollo for us Colombians. Arroz con pollo Colombiano is similar to like a chicken paella. Basically rice, mixed veggies, and shredded chicken. The dish is flavored with saffron and chicken bouillon.

We call it sopon. And when i make it the whole band of sisters decend on my home those are amazing in a rainy or snowy day we also do it with salchichón corn potatoes ham and we call that one sopas de salchichón or when some is sick with runny nose throat we make sopón too
