My dad and Tito Mitch met in jail. My dad is a Pastor and he encounter tito Mitch on a bible study. They become good friends (but sadly I wasnt able to meet the gumabao sibs lol) Papa really saw how tito Mitch's life was changed by the Lord Jesus. A living testimony they said. I can relate. My dad was imprisoned since I was 3 months old until now that I am already 27 years old. He is also became a pastor in jail. I am never ashamed of his mistakes but then I am very proud how he changed and how he bacame now. I love him so much and I am always praying and hoping he will be out of the jail soon so he can spend more time with his only apo and me as her only daughter. Praying for you too as well. You are lucky to have a big family.

Marco and to your family, thank you for sharing your testimonies. My family are Christians too and our motto is knowing the truth and living in the truth of God’s words. You guys are amazing for humbly sharing the most difficult period in your family as a whole. I always remind our son that our purpose here on earth is to glorify our Creator. Can totally relate with your family's experience as our family also experienced same thing way back in 2006. My father was accused of a crime he never did. Mahirap ang buhay pero proud ako sa mama ko dahil naitawid nya kami at di kami tumigil sa pagaaral. Naalala ko every special occasions sa jail kami nagcecelebrate. 2nd year college ako nun muntik na ako tumigil sa pagaaral but thanks God same year natapos yung kaso and yung Papa ko was found not guilty of the case. Ayun natapos ko yung 4 years. Medyo chikboy din yun at puro barkada pero umayos dahil sa nangyari at mas napalapit sa panginoon. Minsan yung mga pagsubok sa buhay yun yung mas nagpapatatag sa pamilya at mas nagbibigay motivation para mag sumikap. God bless your family...

Your past doesn’t define you. -Queen MG was right!! Indeed we should always look at the brighter side of everything that happened (what will happen) in our life. And always put God at the center of* our life. When we lost our mother back in 2008 I once questioned God why, of all people siya pa but looking back now I saw the purpose of it. God’s plan is always the best we should just really need to trust him. 🤗 God Bless po!!

Heard about Gumabao last name must be due to yiour sister who joined the beauty pageant. main point of me commenting here - touched by your story of God's power in your lives from a tragedy and how God turned all your lives beautifully acknowledging GOD's power and glory. touched more when the mother speaks.
