I am Hindu, My wife is from Venezuela who just finished Phd & she is more Hindu than me. I think Hinduism's spirituality helped her finishing Phd. We are no vegetarian though but my parents are vegetarian. In Hinduism even in one home people can practice variation of Hinduism.

*As an atheist, I appreciate Hinduism.* I believe that only polytheistic religions can be truly secular. It's noteworthy that the *oldest religion is the only one with actual female deities.* It's absurd to suppose that Gods and Prøphets can only be male in most faiths. Also, unlike Abrahamic faiths, Hinduism *believes that all religions are equal and genuine.* This eliminates the idea of global dominance, forced conversions, or terrørism. Everyone is welcome, including atheists, transgenders etc. *It's not mandatory to pray, read a holy text, or visit a temple.* Most importantly, it facilitates reforms. It's a liberal religion, in my opinion. The caste system (a British phrase, it's actually called the Varna system) became rigid as a result of the "Manusmriti" text, although it was fluid in the "Vedas" where you could become whatever you wanted. Nonetheless, Manusmriti is not obligatory (nothing is), and 99.99% of Hindus do not read it. Cheers! 🥂
