I’ve had the time tonight to do a KZbin binge and I have watched the last 3 videos of Saff’s, back to back. I delved into the comment section too - which I don’t usually do, and it’s crazy how many horrible comments she’s getting. It baffles me! From critiquing her vernacular, her spending, her choice of content, scrutinising her actions based on lockdown rules (which she hasn’t broken but people are waiting like vultures for her to) and with this video with regards to the food being too pricey. Influencers are criticised for not supporting local businesses and when they do, for the choosing too “expensive” one?! Saffron didn’t set the price, the business owner did, so make the critique make sense?! I’m over influencers being held to a god like standard. They owe us nothing. We might raise their profile through views and support but I think they reward that with consistent free content. Saffron, I hope you haven’t taken any notice to the negative comments, keep killing it, hard work pays off! 💗
