💕I'm glad your family came to visit. I'm also glad you found a therapist and hopefully a mentor. You may also try logging and watching church sometimes. I was in my younger 20's when I consistently started attending church or watching services online and I must say I couldnt make it thru this life without the Word. It can get crazy...I'll pray that you receive the support you need. 💕

I just started therapy a few weeks ago they offer it at my university free to students and I’m so glad I did. It’s just nice because when i have a lot going on sometimes i feel like I’m losing it and she helps me release guilt I may feel and assures me that I’m not crazy. Life just gets crazy sometimes. It’s awesome. I recommended it to anyone.

Hey Jay! So proud of you for trying therapy. I am a mental health therapist I do assessments at a psych hospital here in atlanta and I work in private practice as well as actively in the community. Mental health has been silenced and looked down upon for many years and now people like yourself are becoming More aware and accepting of overcoming issues within their lives. Even though I am a therapist, you’ve inspired me to get my own therapist. Look how we are help one another. You are amazing!!! Keep growing and keep you head high sis!! 😘❤️💗

BdaBarbie hey girl im currently deciding if I should get my masters in mental health. How do you like the career? If i may ask?
@BdaBarbie6 жыл бұрын
Joyce Penelope hi.. I must say in atlanta, I’ve had my ups and downs in the field. I started out going community based work in which I go to the clients home and provide therapy. This has its pros and cons as it allows you to have a flexible schedule because you act as a independent contractor. Only thing is you have to hustle hard. Clients cancel or disappear but yet you still have to pay your bills. But when you have a full active caseload it can be very rewarding as well as you get to help those in the community. Now as for psych hospitals and private practice, that’s more better to me. It’s a steady income and very gratifying. Overall I love mental health. It’s a very broad field so you can work on so many levels. School counseling, group therapy, etc. this is definitely a career that has to be passion driven because most of your blessings come from being a blessing. I could go on and on. But I hope this helps. 😘

I might have to try scentbird....love love love that you’re going to therapy. I highly recommend that everyone seek therapy even if you feel like you’re good or you have no issues. Just talking to someone who is paid to be impartial and does not know you outside of your sessions is truly amazing. That’s great you’re looking for a business mentor too. All great moves!

My scent routine depends on what type I'm wearing. If I'm using a bath and body works scent set I'll use the shower gel and then spray it all over soon as I get out of the shower then use the matching lotion. If I'm using real perfume, Bright Crystal is my favorite, then I use plain soap and lotion then spray it on my pressure points when I'm done getting dressed.

Thank you Jayla for sharing your beliefs on mental health. I am extremely serious about the topic and my own mental health. The brain is as or more important as any part of our bodies. I have taken care of my brain and spirit through therapy, helpful prescription therapy to aid my psychology as I work through my health. Staying close to my circle of true loved ones has also been a blessing because they support my mental health and healing. I support you 100% and proud to know you virtually and that you are brave and letting everyone know how important it is for us to heal our minds and spirit and stay healthy through treatments - be it therapy, mentorship, or all the above. God bless you always! ✊💪👏💛
