@@IceDarkBen only thing Ive found is under the roman branch version online generator, theres an extra cosmetics option for other equipment underneath the mirror shield select. They work on in game models, but when link holds nothing changed. It might be due to me using modloader64 tho

just important objects being in the wackiest most obscure checkpoints, checks can be locked behind checks, items can be behind items, it depends where you start and the chain of items you get, boomerang unlocks a lot of checkpoints, but if those checkpoints have no important items, then you never really needed it, but sometimes you really do need it, you just never know, its good to get things like ocarina or a bottle early though, and explosives, to move fast across large areas and perform little gimmicks to access things the unintended way.

A note on what Xavier said, item hunting for specific checks can be brutal. Say he needs Boomerang for Magic or Light Arrows, but Boomerang is behind Shadow, after the boat - that means he needs either Zelda's Lullaby (to trigger the boat) or Magic + Farore's Wind, with a way to get to Spirit (for the rando-only void warp past the boat). If any of those are in a shop, he may need to go wallet hunting if the price is too high. If he gets a hint that something is in a grotto, he may need Epona's Song or Song of Storms to enter/trigger the grotto. So you end up wasting huge chunks of time looking for prerequisite items when you already have all the info for the desired item.

I would guess like Ocarina and the 3 most important songs being behind Frogs and then all the bottles are behind the most annoying multi-item checks, like the Scarecrow in the boulder room in Fire Temple then things like bombs and all ranged weapons being in the furthest out of the way place. Maybe like Spirit Temple hand chests, or needing to do the Chest minigame without Lens of Truth

There are specific items required to complete the game and if you get unlucky and find a bunch of junk items first, or get an important item in a chest locked behind another item, it can take way longer
