This is great to see, but it seems as if a few steps are left out. Between Rough Animation and Compositing there is Clean-Up Animation and then Ink & Paint (coloring). I've read elsewhere that Rough Character Animation and Clean Up Character Animation was done in TVPaint Animation, with effects and Ink & Paint done in Toonboom Harmony. They also used Moho for animation of props and background elements (raising the island, for example) , as well as some character animation in Moho. I'm assuming final Compositing is done with After Effects or Nuke (or a combination of both.)

Thats why it says "take a look at SOME of the various stages". Theres no way to put every depts work running at the same time or there would be like 15 tiny video frames to try and watch. This is a good compromise and overall view of the major stages that most people who arent industry people would understand.

Isn't the storyboard and the posing almost the same?

The storyboarding is the rough start sketch to show the animators what to do, and then they animators draw out the poses from that sketch. The inbetweeners then use the pose the make the animation smooth. At least that's what my knowledge is on it :D hope that helped?

"Posing" (aka Character Layout) is an intermediate step between storyboard and actual animation. In some cases the animators may make use of the character layout poses exactly as drawn, or in some cases they may change the poses as needed. (and of course usually adding additional animation poses as they flesh out the scene.)
