I went though 4 marriages at age 16 and the numbers get worse I gotten older due to not having a fathers support and mother went though child marriage too so she doesn’t help either, also having step father who wasn’t caring to us was helping too. Damaris' story is so intriguing. It should challenge and inspire all of us, and be shared by all of us. Not everyone goes through what she went through and becomes what she is. She went through a lot of trials and temptations at a young age, unintentionally made bad choices along the way, realized at a young age that she was taking the wrong path and decided to change course, and she's now inspiring the world at a young age. Her story tells us that it is possible to overcome our bad choices, including addictions, become better people and be of a positive impact to society. Her story is a story of hope and strength. This message has made me to shed tears ...things that we go through with alcoholic parents it's hectic I remember may dad used to tell me I will be like my mother meaning getting married at early age and just straggle with life I remember it took time bf I forgave him coz still he ended up selling the least thing that we remain with by using my name that he has a child who is supposed to join highschool and that was the only land that now it was the only hope knowing even if my dad he has not build a house for us but in future us as the kids we will do so.. just because he can't because of alcohol as usual having hoped with alcoholic person it's Impossible, that was the end btwn me and my dad it took time bf I forgave him coz I was the one who got affected so much but my dad never thought of so cause I Have big brother who is Deaf now he knew he can't stop him or telling him to stop and at the end of the day as a girl hold obvious he couldn't listen to me ...it was tough untill it reach a place I hated to be in a relationship with any man coz I ended up to fear men but to cut the story shot I started training my self to forgive my dad but it wasn't easy once I remember I used to be called names with my principal because of luck of paying school fees,,,, so my dad used to tell me he will come to school but he never showed up from there my principal gave me a name ( mkora Kama baba yako ) things now was getting tough I started being a hungry person... 😭untill now I started hustling in the name of I want to make my mum happy and just to see her smiling buy building her house that she has been always wanted but thank God am now on my process and I believe one day time things will be ok despite everything I still love my dad ....
