Your recommendations are timely since I have Ms. Christie on my books to read list without any books. Thanks,

@@thebookworm6554 I love the ones in your video but also 4:50 from Paddington, why didn’t they ask Evans, the body in the library, dead man’s folly and crooked house! X

I’ve read three so far, Death on the Nile is probably my personal favorite so far. And Then There Where None was the only one I’ve guessed right.

Hi, Thanks for this interesting video reminding us of the excellent Agatha Christie, also one of my favourite writers.👍 But I would like to introduce to you the Belgian writer Georges Simenon. (French: 12/13 February 1903 - 4 September 1989). He was a Belgian writer, most famous for his fictional detective Commissaire Maigret. One of the most popular authors of the 20th century, he published around 400 novels (including 192 under his own name), 21 volumes of memoirs and many short stories, selling over 500 million copies.(Wikipedia). If you are interested in, please have a look at his works. I would suggest some of these crime novels: . Le Charretier de la 'Providence' (1931) ; (The Carter of 'La Providence') . La Maison du canal (1933) (The House by the Canal) . The Yellow Dog (Le chien jaune, France, 1932) . The Hanged Man of Saint Pholien (1931) ... and many more. His famous atmospheric descriptions of moody, misty ports, of Paris in the 30s-60s are really stunning. In his investigations, Maigret's method is to put himself in another person's place in order to discover why the crime was committed, rather than just finding out whodunit.(Wikipedia). Best greetings

I spot House of Leaves behind you! Whenever I’m asked what my favorite book is, I say House of Leaves. If you have any recommendations for someone whose favorite book is House of Leaves, I’d be grateful. Thank you, and I’ll check out some A.C. too, as shockingly, I’ve never read her work.

Hmmm... If you like House of Leaves, try reading The Raw Shark Texts (it's not horror, but it is mind bending weird). Horror-wise, I would try English Horror Story, Horrorstor (it's a horror comedy though), and No One Gets Out Alive. Hope you'll like them!
