You need to try Amber Sultan from Serge Lutens. It’s my favorite amber. Where Chergui leans more tobacco and honey, the former is more ambery and a bit spicy. It’s such a rich, decadent perfume! 😍

Grand Soir is the GOAT amber as far as I've tried. Masque Milano Tango is amazing too. If you want a great (slightly cheaper) alternative to Grand Soir, give Alexandre J The Majestic Vanilla a shot.

i am blanking on the amber scents in the collection ok let me go check the shelf ok i am back 1 dior ambre nuit 2 mancera roses and amber 3 mancera aoud cafe , i know that has amber 4 D&G the one 5 amouage jubilation xxv has amber, i pretty sure 6 TF noir extreme , pretty sure that has amber 7 DHI has a touch of amber also amber is not one of those notes i pay a ton of attention to , maybe this is a sign i need more amber scents but ambre nuit is amazing its my most favourite amber scent of the top of my head

I love Grand Soir!!! I also really enjoy Ambar del Sur by Carner Barcelona (very similar to GS but a little deeper), Amouage Jubilation Man (amber, blackberry & oud) and Tom Ford Plum Japonais (amber, plum, patchouli & oud)...

J. C. Oh I forgot about Nasomatto Pardon, what a great amber that is! I only have MFK GS in a full bottle, the rest are samples and decants- but on my wishlist 🤞. Honestly, I only really started to appreciate and really enjoy amber scents recently... experiencing frankincense, benzoin and myrrh raw materials actually really helped me understand them and appreciate their beauty.

I don't have the CK Euphoria Intense, but I do have Euphoria Amber Gold. If you haven't tried it, I'd recommend it. It's a great dumb reach in the winter, especially on a winter evening out on the town. Great video

Great review! Maybe consider adding Sun Force by The Harmonist to this list in the future. This one is even better than Grand Soir by MFK. Great longevity and excellent trail. Very noticeable but subdued and classy scent. Very expensive though.

Have you tried SL Amber Sultan? It's a rich amber with a bay leaf top note. Quite unique and a must smell. Histories de Parfum Ambre 114 is a good one. Gran Soir is probably my favorite amber. Masque Milano Tango is a rich, complex amber that is a definite must smell for niche lovers. But Parfum d'Empire Ambre Russe has to top the list as being a top blast of rich amber and a heavenly dry down. It's also complex and unapologetically niche and a bit herbal. Perris Monte Carlo Ambre Gris is amber with rose, vanilla, musk and sandalwood. It's a bit in your face when you first smell it but once it settles down it's a winner. Those are the ambers in my collection that can recommend to try. They are a bit pricey but especially the Amber Sultan can be bought on the grey market cheaper. Some of the others are hard to find except on Luckyscent. Sadly that site has cornered the market on niche and hard to find fragrances and the prices are ridiculous! As are the tiny, crappy dap samples they give you. But it's worth it to save up for these.

nice presentation - thanks. my favorite amber fragrance is "Persepolis Amber" by Arshia - after a light bergamot opening, as its Greek name would imply, this amber opens with a hit and hint of an unnamed herbal note (perhaps Artemesia?). it then quickly moves on to a mid marshmallow mellowness before settling down into a light sandalwoody base of oud-kissed amber. it's simply too easy to wear and too easy to enjoy, with an intriguing perfume progression every time.

Amber has a scent. Take a piece of Amber and rub it against some steel wool and you will get a scent. you can also get a hot pin or just polish it

I haven't personally smelled one just like that, but I've heard great things about Cape Heartache from Imaginary Authors. Its supposed to have a very realistic piney/coniferous scent, but with some other interesting facets. I don't believe it has any amber though.
