I have a red shinhan pass colour that does exactly the same thing. Different pigments do different things maybe that red is just badly behaved! Love your work btw, it is lovely.

It depends on what you want to do with it. I often start out with that brush and for fine details I get a smaller brush :)

I used to use rendr for markers but then i realized it dries them out really bad (copics). Now i just use regular artist paper. Its sad there is no paper other than that one that wont bleed through.

@@VisualMind ya i didnt notice the problem either i used a whole sketchbook actually but then i used other papers and saw they had more pigment and didnt soak up the marker so much. But these sketchbooks are great if you dont want any bleeding at all and dont mind the colours being a bit dull from soaking into the paper too much.

Paper definately matters however, my work lookes horrible on the Hahnemuhle paper which it does not on other paper. So not every watercolor paper is automatically a good paper for everyone.
