Royal and Langnickel brush value lines, available at most stores, are really great, I think! They make some higher end brushes too, but the higher end brushes are not always available at most brick & mortar stores….where Princeton usually dominates. Princeton brushes are great, but I think they are somewhat overpriced…just IMHO. I don’t have any Posca Pens, but I have thought of investing in a set of Molotow acrylic pens if I decide to ever use acrylic pens; the paint is very high quality and the pens are REFILLABLE and the nibs are replaceable and various size tips and tubes are available. Molotow, a German brand, thought of everything. Their products are pricey, but very high quality. A lot of American retailers sell their products, or some of them, both online & off and Jackson’s in the UK sells some Molotow too. I think Blick sells a lot of their product line. I like their black liner pens. 😉

I’m going to have to agree with you, Princeton can be a little overpriced! But they have a special place in my heart all the same, haha. they do also have the affordable Snap series. The craft stores near me always have a poor supply of brushes that I don’t even check there anymore, luckily I’m close to a few large art stores since I’m near a major city. Haven’t tried molotow pens yet but I’ve been wanting to, they seem to have a really nice selection of colors! Thanks for watching Nancy!

All the premium gouache brands are pretty pricey. I’ve got Gelly gouache too and must put it to good use. I’ve also started buying a few tubes of acrylic gouache…but I mat try Liquitex too. Thanks! 😀
