Wonderful episode! Great job on the book cover video clips! Yes, E. Shaver is still there in Savannah on Madison Square. I love spring, especially all the varied and vibrant colors of flowers, shrubs, and trees. I am currently re-reading the nurse Cherry Ames series by Helen Wells, originally published in the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. I first read them as an upper elementary aged student in the late 60’s. I love your podcasts - keep up the great work! I think I will sit outside, “While I Read!” 😃

Thank you! I’m so glad to know E. Shaver is still there and that you are familiar with it. I’ve never read the series that you mentioned, but maybe I’ll give it a try! Thanks for watching and commenting!

I always win! I'm glad I could introduce you to Thornyhold. I actually have read all these books except for The House on the Cliff. I remember when you read all the D E Stevenson books, but I don't think I ever read any of them. I don't reread too often, but sometimes it's comforting to go back to old favorites.

One day I will get you to read D.E. Stevenson! Thank you for recommending Thornyhold all those years ago.

I'm not a re-reader, but perhaps I should go back to some old favorites and see how it affects me. I love the photos you included of the books amidst flowers. Very nice! 🌸🌷🌺

It’s funny how some people love to reread and others don’t!

Harry Potter is more of a fall book to me - so many fun Halloween scenes. But actually, anytime is a good time for Harry Potter!
