Totally agree! Compared to say Lion, Witch and wardrobe, Pan is on a whole other level. Titus film with Hopkins really stuck with me, might read the play because of your review.

Awesome list and rankings! Out of curiosity, have you ever watched ABC's Once Upon a Time? They did a pretty extensive plot with Peter Pan in the 3rd season (I think), and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it as an adaptation.

Loved the ranking! I've recently read Sweeney Todd because I was obsessed with the musical and actually liked. It was originally published in the newspaper, so it was cool to read somenthing in that format

Very few people know there is a *real* Lord of the Flies story and it's nothing like the book. I discovered this in "Humankind", a nonfiction by Rutger Bregman. And the author was simply an awful human being. I quote: 'I have always understood the Nazis,’ Golding confessed, ‘because I am of that sort by nature. And it was ‘partly out of that sad self-knowledge’ that he wrote Lord of the Flies.' UHMM WHAT?? I hate how easy people buy the story he told, it's like we want to believe human beings are inherently evil and f*cked up.

I've read The Awakening and liked it. I too like Jane Eyre, but hated Rochester lol
