I'm tempted to put passionfruit on my back fencing now. What a fast growing, easy, and lush backdrop you have! Thanks for sharing

Great vid and perfect timing. I’m in AZ and looking for vines that’ll take full sun SW exposure. Tried bougainvillea but too messy so researching crossbones and lady bank rose.

Bougainvillea is one of the plants I hate the most, so I'm with you! We have a lady bank rose as well -- it's very nice when in bloom, but acts like less of a climber than those shown in this video, and I find it kind of ugly when it's not in bloom. I really like the tangerine crossvine and passion fruit vine.

I am in on the east coast - zone 9B. I can't find passion fruit for sale anywhere near me. Very strange. Also, I planted a Cherokee rose and that thing took off and shimmied its way up the trees and it is so sad to see it only bloom once a year. It's a great fence though. No one is going to come through that part of the property unscathed.

I just visited a local nursery here in AZ and saw passion fruit on sale for $29.99 -- keep looking, it's a great vine. As for roses with thorns, they have multiple great uses!
