My Favorite Course in Jacksonville (Jax Beach Golf Club)

Today, I'm taking you along as I play a round at my favorite Golf Course in Jacksonville, Jax Beach Golf Club.
This is the golf course that kickstarted my golf journey when I was younger.

I need to get back down to Florida. I love the layouts and all the palm trees on the golf courses. I worked at Disney for a while and got to play their courses. It was a nice perk to have. Another fun event and video. You are creeping up on 200. Cheers!

I play a mix of courses in the area and Jax about 8 times so far this month, so you could say I know it well. After your front nine, I was thinking you'd be lucky to break 100. Way to turn it around on the way-more-difficult back 9. My only possible point of contention with your score is from hole 3. Play with any of the league guys out there, and with OB left, you've got to play 3 from the tee or hit 4 from the fairway or they will be on your case. The viewer didn't get to see your ball, so maybe you just had an unplayable. Anyway, way fun to see Jax from this perspective. It shows how little I take in the scenery when focused on playing. Lastly, you guys didn't seem too backed up out there. When was this tee time? By far the worst part of Jax is the pace of play.

Thanks for watching the video! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm not sure I can agree with your ruling on hole 3 though as it is red staked. You can see the stakes in the video. Our tee time was around 2pm if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately, there are really only 2 good choices in Jax Beach for public courses. Everything else is private. 1. Jax Beach - difficult to get a tee time though. 2. Queens Harbor Yacht & CC Other good courses are Eagle Landing, Eagle Harbor, and Bent Creek. Sweetwater is the newest course in the area, but I have not played it. If you don't mind driving a bit, I would highly suggest going down to The World Golf Village and checking out the 2 courses there. Slammer & Squire King & Bear
