Wow, I wondered why my traffic spiked! Thanks for playing again! If multiple Spells activate on the same final stone it'll draw that little line underneath, and the cast order is actually just random within that group :pray: In the next update (hope to send it off to the translators end of the week but no eta!) some Badges can give a "Priority" keyword, which will force them to go first in a conflict.

After finding out about this game from your first video, I completely binged it. I now consider it easily within the top 5 of roguelikes. It pushes its seemingly simple gameplay loop to the fullest while still remaining completely digestible. All of the secrets within it were quite intriguing as well. It is definitely the gem of all time

On the mana upgrade choices: A: Max mana only matters if you are regenning more mana than can be used, if you are saving up for a super huge combo play that you need more slots for, or if you have an effect that scales off missing or current mana count B: starting mana is useful if you have a turn one win type strat, or a way to use mana to make more later C: mana regen makes it so that every single turn you have an increase in spell casting power, ability to wipe out extra tiles, ability to reliably chain together combos, and more. Overall regen per turn is almost always the best choice, especially when you look at the numbers, with C on the second turn you have tied with B, and by the third turn you defeated them. A wise if you somehow save one spare mana every turn it would take 6 turns to use the extra space, and 7 to have a full bar. As far as other upgrades go, most other options are far more build specific, but spellbook space is fairly priceless Note: free cast effects can potentially lessen the mana regen value, but only if they hit the right stones and you create them fast enough

The effects that remove gems target any gems not in your current chain, so not gem type, the individual gems, those effects would likely have helped you quite a lot by clearing junk areas

probably has a weighting for which fires first based on number of pips required for the spell, at least I could easily see that being a mechanic.

12:58 You can start from the blue on the right, then go purple, red, free yellow, purple, gem to get both spells. Trashing unused stones is very useful in two-three colours builds. My first win was a run that only used blue purple red, with the unused stone destroyer on a repeat spell clearing out green and yellow to improve consistency a crazy amount.

At 27:10 you could have done RYGYR, starting in the middle, going top, then back down. I think the game always seeds the start board to allow for your mega sequence once, and then you're on your own.
