Great video as always ! Eggplant is my favourite vegetable, so I'm happy to watch you make 3 different recipes 😊 I sometimes make a recipe close to nasu dengaku but I cook the eaggplant in the oven and brush the sauce over it during its cooking The two other recipes looks so good, I'm definitely trying them !

@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine yummmy!!! all three dishes look delicious but this is the one I am really excited about trying n gravitate twords!!... after I make it using your recipe or what I call your guide because of varying differences temperature air pressure humidity it seems to me it becomes a guide (hehehe) a little more a little less n we meet in the middle with some laughter🥳 I'll let you know how it goes n I can only imagine how yummmy it will be but I'll tell you anyways afterwards.... I could enjoy this anytime of the day or a middle of the night snack.... I'm really excited to share in this journey with you!!! it's almost 1-year since you started the channel, yesss?.?.?. I'll tell you about my graffiti also which has been a tough road being a girl in that universe but wouldn't change it at all.... ❤️🍆❤️

I must try this - looks lovely. Until now, I only used eggplants as one ingredient among others for Ratatouille. But in a Japanese restaurant, I recently saw eggplant as a vegan substitute for Unadon… very interesting- it’s really versatile when cooked with care❣️
@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine3 ай бұрын
Yes, please try it! The eggplant in Ratatouille is so delicious😁. And eggplant goes well with soy sauce and sweet seasoning, mirin and sugar. So, the eggplant becomes substituted for Unadon or teriyaki! I hope you’ll enjoy Japanese eggplant dishes! Thank you😊

I didn't like eggplant when I was a kid, but now I really like it! a popular dish here is eggplant escabeche, a conserve of lightly cooked eggplant marinated in oil and vinegar, with chopped garlic, black pepper, laurel, ground spicy pepper and chopped parsley
@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine3 ай бұрын
In japan, some people didn't like it, but eggplant is very popular! Thank you for teaching me, I've never try "eggplant escabeche", that looks delicious😋! Thank you!

@@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine sure, it seems that it has arab origins and was adopted in Mediterranean cuisines, and you know, Argentine population was built with lots of Spanish and Italian immigrants, plus other Mediterranean people!
@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine3 ай бұрын
I didn’t know it was the origin of Arabic. Yes, I know they create their own special culture and cuisine! Thank you for teaching me!!
