Botanical was on a wish list until I had to tell myself NO MORE! Ha. I've acquired an overwhelming amount of oracle decks. The idea of "seasonal decks" might help limit/rotate rather than decluttering. The cohesion you have found between decks is stunning. Mine looks so mismatched now! The way you described Hidden Realm was spot on. I love that deck, but quickly realized it was going to be a timely study of-Archetypes is a good way to phrase it. It helped deepen my understand. "Cohesiveness" will make a good criteria when considering any future decks. Love the video!

I'm glad you shared it. This was my fall oracle too but I didn't really connect with it. But I think it's because I haven't had time to read the guidebook, and without that, cards like the first emotions of love (or sth like that) make little sense in a reading.

I've been looking at the botanical inspiration deck for quite some time, and I ordered it yesterday. I'm excited for it to arrive and to work with it. Want to pair it maybe with the Golden wheel tarot. But I think my animal decks will work fine with it (animal totem, oak ash and thorn and magical dogs). Thanks for your great videos. My fave pairings were two last ones, it especially looks like it works great with the Forest of Enchantment. Also, looks like it makes it a little easier to work with the Hush tarot, softens it up a little bit, so I will try that out. I have both this deck and the Magical Herb oracle after seeing them on your channel, but I haven't used this one much yet. Many good tips on how to bring it in and use it more 😊🧡🤎🍂

I do have that oracle deck, actually! I was immediately drawn to it for the messages and the quotes you get with it, but I don't grab for it much. I always want to, but it just never feels like the right moment. I think the back is also distracting to me, which I usually don't get bothered by. Seeing your pairings makes me really want to pull it out again, though. I have the Forest of Enchantment tarot, and it's been my go-to recently. I'm curious now how the two would work together for me. I just bought the Liminal Spirits Oracle deck because, other than its bold color palette, the energies of the deck make me think of fall, so I want to see how I can pull that in, too. I don't usually work seasonally, but this year I've really been drawn to try it. Also, this made me very interested in getting the Hush tarot. I was worried it'd be too dark for me, but I've been searching for something to bring out the darker autumn season lessons. The art is breathtaking and it seems like a wonderful fall deck in both theme and color palette. Thank you for this video! It's timing is perfect (I just watched your autumn tarot favs from last year a few days ago for inspiration). ♡♡♡

Oh, and a question on the Earth Wisdom Oracle deck you mentioned. I just got it in the mail and it's such bad cardstock! Major disappointment, as this was a gift for my husband, and it's his first ever oracle deck. Would trimming the edges make them more sturdy or sealing the edges with a marker of some sort hello then from chipping? I know you're particular about cardstock and you're very wise with modifications, so I was just wondering what you'd do to get longer use out of it.

Interesting, I haven't noticed an issue with the cardstock with mine. I did edge it although I don't know if that does anything to really help with chipping or anything. Trimming makes the deck a little smaller which in general makes it feel a bit sturdier (maybe because there's less surface area.) So that might help. 🙂

@@DawnMichelleTarot I'm wondering if we just got a fluke with our deck 🤔 The energy of them otherwise is beautiful and he's extremely drawn to them, so it's not a waste in any case. I think more I'm disappointed than him that this is his first experience. You not having issues gives me hope that if modding doesn't work out, we might be able to buy it again with better luck. Ooh that's a really hard one, because I have two primary ones I use: the Botanical Inspirations in the darker half of the year and the Hedgewitch Botanical in the lighter half. But if I could only have one, I'd probably pick the Botanical Inspirations because I just adore the guidebook and reads well with a good portion of my decks.
