There was a thread on Librarything about which are the best currently available FS books or the ones with the best value for money. I listed The Neverending Story, Dracula, The Odyssey, Venetia, Kafka on the Shore and The Godfather for fiction and SPQR for non fiction.

I love the murakami editions but i can't justify to buy them, since english is not my first language and I'd rather have it in my first language. Usually i only get books that were originally published in english from them.

The recent Dune movie was based on the first half of the book, and the upcoming one based on the second half. But yes, the other Dune books would be great to see.
