Sry Kirby, Pac Man was the TRUE pioneer of "sentient balls" everywhere.🤣He certainly was a first in the survival horror genre, (considering the sheer terror in my eyes as I narrowly escape the clutches of Pinky, Inky, Blinky, & Clyde.) And we can't forget Ms. Pac Man being the first playable female game character! 😎 (It was def a taste of "Japanese cool" in America at a time when anime etc was not as accessible.)

SENTIENT BALL HAHAHA You bring up some excellent points that I never thought about. It really was the first survival horror game because I was always in sheer sweat and panic whenever I played! The Ms. Pac Man is also such a good pov!

as an arknights player, i'm so excited for civilight eterna. but you are right, that price is a little high. hopefully i can get it for a bit lower after release. thanks for the highlights!

HanGoof!!! Of what was shown my most awaited figure is probably the Megahouse Futaba figure. I've managed to get everyone from Joker's team (sans Akechi) and it was a pleasant surprise to see we'll be getting our resident computer nerd. My biggest gripe (outside of that price tag) is the base. Though I think it's pretty cool, everyone else from the line all have similar bases. Futaba's base breaks from the uniformity of the line. But yeah I am very much looking forward to her. However my most awaited figures are the upcoming figures from Legend of Heroes and Ys from Kotobukiya.

True! It is annoying when a 'set' has different bases! It really breaks that smooth uniformity. I'm not familiar with Legend of Heroes and Ys, but after looking them up they look great! It's always nice to see classics be made into figures.

Sweet! Looking forward to more of your monthly highlights. As for pre-orders, I have the Marcille Donato: Adding Color to the Dungeon added; I do agree her face arent as expressive compared to her other figures but I really like the based of all the monsters/creatures from the series. Plus her familiars are there too! I really want the Morrigan & Lilith figures/Statues youve shown in this but Im hesitate because I rarely order outside of the usual sites to get anime figures. Also the price >.>

They are really doing Overlord dirty here. If you want a quality Nabe figure, get the re-release from Alter. As for Morrigan, I like the style of the combo statue, but the faces are off. As for the First4Figure variants, I am not a fan of the faces there either, but more so the pose (I mean she is a Succubus damnit). I will stick with my Bishoujo Morrigan and recommend it to others who like the character and want an awesome pose and face. Lastly, the Gurren Lagann, I love it; however, at that size and price, I will never be getting it. If they ever released it at just under half the size, I would totally get one!

Our overlord ladies deserved better! The Alter Nabe is a cutie and I've been quietly eyeing her for a while. I might cave... I totally agree! The Bishoujo Morrigan is the best! I wish they would make an amazing non 1/4 scale figure of Gurren Lagann (╥﹏╥)

I agree with your take on the faces of amany figures this month. There is something off about them. I am surprised by how hard Kotobukiya missed on Kikoru's bonus face plate. Her regular face does look considerably better in some videos, so perhaps it really was the lighting in those photos. Either that, or I am just coping hard here... Even Alter's Marin, as lovely as her craftsmanship is, her facial expression doesn't look very natural to me, the more I look at it. Maybe the fact that they made her face swappable contributed to this? To me, the face is everything, so I thank the companies for giving me reasons to put away Wallet-kun. (。・・)_且 Kid outshines Conan in FuRyu's take, in both posture and facial expression. The scene you described is likely from the 20th movie, The Darkest Nightmare. If I recall correctly, one of Conan's companion's sniped the helicopter after he revealed their location in the night sky with his fireworks soccer ball. With that said, given the number of episodes in the series, I am sure there are at least a couple of scenes elsewhere featuring a helicopter and a soccer ball. ヾ(*・-・)ﾂθ☆● I am skipping on Futaba from Megahouse. As much as I love this line - I have Joker, Queen, Noir + Morgana Car, and Yoshizawa - I don't feel like I need need Futaba. I am sure I will eat my words a few years from now, but I am 92.8% positive that it will be more of a pancake-sized regret than a medival feast one. I am glad they made her in her Phantom Thief's outfit though! I shall continue to collect Hololive figures. The completionist in me is simply in way too deep. There is no turning back now. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

Companies really did miss with the face plates this month. (which like you said, might be a blessing ٩(˘◡˘)۶) You're right about Kikorus regular face, it looks okay in other photos! But that bonus face is a huge fail. I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt the Marin face was off. True! Kid does look better than Conan and how many helicopters is Conan going around blowing up?! 92.8%! Don't let your decision waver! Stay strong! You are a legend. Completing the Hololive figure collection is true love and dedication. But all their figures are so adorable (─‿‿─) so totally understand! Who is your favorite Hololive member?

As you can probably tell from my profile picture, I am a big fan of Pekora (kamioshi - I got her 200k yen kimono figure) and Fauna. But anyone who knows me would likely attest to the fact that I am also very active in Ina, Mumei, Reine and Risu's communities. xD

@hangoof Hehe. Just don't blame me if you end up falling into the rabbit hole, friend. ^_- And yes, she is the one! Unsurprisingly, given her outrageous MSRP, Kimono Pekora is the most expensive figure in my collection. I can still recall the day the figure was announced. I couldn't believe they were making one for her! Even so, I debated with myself for like 8+ hour straight before finally caving in and ordering her directly from the source, Design Coco. From that point on, I stopped pre-ordering figures (except Hololive) to make up for her cost. I never bought anything this pricey, but being a big fan of Pekora, I just had to have her. I am sure the 800+ nousagi who pre-ordered her before me agreed with me. ^_^ (Edit: can't English today.)
