The grade is absolutely insane , I knew the look was achievable but I hadn’t seen it done on a Komodo until now. you just sold me on this RED, with that being said I would love a video on your grading insights !! Cheers mate I can’t wait to see what you come out with

Thanks for checking it out! I will say - you could achieve the same look with just about any cinema camera (even sub $2K cameras). It has less to do with the camera than you might think and more to do with exposure, lighting, and lens choice. I do think having RAW, 10-bit, or even just LOG footage can help at times, but it’s not everything. I’m glad you like the look!

This is such a good practice! I think a lot of people (myself included) want to be perfect right out the gate, but this video is reminding me that it’s still super important to PRACTICE! Great video 👏🏽

Interesting practice! I do a lot of lighting tests but this is something I haven't tried much. I love seeing videos like this where people experiment for fun, keep up the good work!

Glad you enjoyed it! That shot was with a Zeiss Jena 35mm Flektogon. It’s a really awesome lens!
