returnofmerenguespersempre....you beat me to it...the reliable old Android TV box 905X SoC...i have one it says M9+ on the top...cheap budget TV box...useless for Android these days...ideal for emulation...i put Batocera on it...why not...i think i wrote over the eMMC chip so i saved not using a TF card...and being a cheapskate saving money is always my aim...

I am working on picking my third retro game box purchase. I must have missed it, but is this thing able to at least display the text in English? Also, I have a really nice laptop that doesn't get used. I'm going to turn that into a retro game box. It's a current gen i7 but has onboard graphics - which will likely be 'just fine' for my needs. I could hook up an external GPU but, at that point, I might just as well use a tower system from around the house. I can buy a refurbished one for dirt cheap, under $300 easily.

Retroarch seems so dull now that there are so many great frontends available these days.

I loved that the one shooter game has "2 Unlimited" music on it (SNES, USA)... ...but it was too short an audio clip. It just repeated over and over and... that's a very, very bad thing.

This product is some time ago... There are different options that can do a much better job. This old S905X ... New ones have the S905X3 so much better!
