Dude even though I was born in 2007, this was still my childhood. I played the crap out of this on Virtual Console on Wii, and my god I enjoyed every second of it. When I saw this trailer live, I was screaming and crying. This is byfar the best thing Nintendos done in a LONG time

Man I've been binging these reaction vids and it's just so wholesome to me that there are so many young guns that are as excited about this as I am at 31. This game was *my* childhood too! The first RPG that I could actually grasp at 5 years old (only after watching my big brother basically 100% the game), and I'm so glad we get a good-looking remake. And since we *are* getting an official remake, it's possible that we might get a legitimate sequel later on. LETS GO.

Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger were a refuge for me for a childhood that didn't go so well (I'm 43). I have been fond of RPGs since Final Fantasy on NES. Although I stepped away from that genre for some time after the SNES era due to a number of circumstances, my heart will always be with the RPG genre. Now we get to see this again and the young Switch fans get to see what their parents played on SNES back in 1996. This is just surreal.

Easily my favorite thing about this ad, outside of them keeping the chibi look instead of giving it the Mario and Luigi remake treatment, they don't reveal the main villain. That way, kids who never got a chance to play this before will be in for a surprise.

Yoko Shimomura gave us a nice remake of her iconic Megalomania from Live A Live, I can't wait to listen to the jewel of a musical piece that plays in the Forest Maze, arguably one of the BEST parts of the game. PD: I played it in the 90s in my old SNES (Rest In Peace, you wonderful machine, you gave me countless hours of awesomeness). THIS was the game that got me to love JRPGs.

What made me happy watching this reaction is the love you clearly have for Mallow. I love Geno, but Mallow’s my boy, my favorite new character in this game. And his character arc is one of the best. It’s about time that the little thundercloud that could was given so much respect. Even in the original, he was in my party a lot as i found his magic attacks very versatile.

RPG came out when I was in sixth grade. It was the last game I bought for Super NES before I transitioned to N64 that Christmas. I remember buying it in May and I pretty sure it took me until December to finish it beccauseI was so bad at RPGs. Still love the game and have a lot of fun memories though.

I was so happy, Mario rpg is one of my favourite games ever! I remember renting it when I was 6 or 7, when it first came out, I was literally just one year too early because I didn’t know how to play rpgs yet (I learned the next year or two when I got Pokémon red) but I still loved playing the game file that was saved on the rented cartridge, I had no idea what I was doing but I was drinking a doctor pepper I remember that 😆. When I played it once I knew how I was so happy, I can’t wait to play this! November is close, I’m not even the biggest Dr Pepper fan but I’ll be getting some to play this with 😂 to honour my memory of first playing it
