Halloween (1978) Overall I can honestly say I enjoy every movie on this list. Some more than others obviously, but even with Resurrection at 11, I find some joy watching it.

My favorite Halloween film is Halloween (2018) because its the one that introduce me to the franchise and that I saw in theaters. My top five favorite from this franchise are Halloween (1978), Halloween 4, Halloween 6, Halloween (2018) and Halloween Ends. This was another good ranking video.

Great list! I would personally not put h20 that high, I never could get behind the California setting, the Dawsons creek style, the terrible masks, and the scream vibes, but I respect your opinion! 😊 I am just a sucker for hattonfield, also really respect your Kills view such an over hatted movie.

I like Halloween 5, Halloween 6, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends more than most fans and Halloween 2 and H2O less than most fans (even though I still like these films too.)

13. Resurrection - Kung Fu Busta Rhymes nuff said 12. Halloween Ends - Hated the plot. I prefer the Thorn trilogy. Yeah I said it 11. Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 - loved his first one and was very disappointed in the sequel. Damn white horse. 10. Halloween Kills - Anthony Michael Hall's character is the most annoying character in the entire franchise. 9. H20 - Used to enjoy it more , but have soured on it through the years. 8. Halloween 6 Curse - Yeah it's a mess but at least it's still the original timeline. Thorn trilogy was a good idea just not executed very good. 7. Halloween 2018 - I would enjoy it more , but I prefer the Michael and Laurie as siblings. It's a pretty good movie though. 6. Halloween 4 - Love Loomis , he's my favorite character in the franchise. Donald Pleasence Loomis of course. Still has the feels of the first 2. 5. Halloween 5 - Danielle Harris as Jamie Lloyd is outstanding in this movie. The laundry chute sequence is the most terrifying of the entire franchise. Loomis is at his craziest best. I prefer Jamie Lloyd over Laurie Strode sue me 4. Halloween 2 1981 - Great sequel , I don't care about Laurie Strode bring in the hospital bed most of the movie. It's still creepy with a great score. Too hard on yourself John Carpenter. 3. Rob Zombie's Halloween - yeah yeah the typical Rob Zombie white trash trope. Michael doesn't need a backstory blah blah. It was my favorite part of the movie , and Tyler Mane is imposing af as Michael Myers. 2. Season of the Witch - Probably my personal favorite , but I can't objectively say it's better than Halloween 1. This movie scared the ever loving crap out of me as a kid , and Tom Atkins is awesome. The ending is freaking awesome. I kinda wish Carpenter would've got to make different movies for the franchise like he wanted. 1. Halloween - What is there to say really? It's a masterpiece and every Jason , Freddy , etc etc character and franchise owes Halloween royalties. Awesome score , very well written , and Donald Pleasence is just the best. Like Romero's Night of the Living Dead it created a genre.

I HATED H2O in fact I actually liked part 8 better the only reason fans liked H2O IS cause of Jamie Lee. And this was the worst micheal mask but to me they should have stop after part 6 sorry but to me Micheal and Dr Loomis made Halloween not Laurie so after Don passed away they should have stopped. And I am ok with reboots just not Rob zombie's cause I hate boys and men with long hair also Rob's Michael was to tall he felt more like Jason then Michael and I know it was supposed to be different but I like the fact that in the original micheal was only 6 not 10. In fact not counting part 3 I only like the first 5 part 1 2 4 5 6 my favorites are 1 4 5 2 6
