I enjoyed your video. One thing I like to do is punch a hole in the paper template for easy removal.

Lovely work. That needle tube is brilliant. I have to agree with you about thread. I use wonderfil’s decobob or superior threads, bottom line both are very fine and very, very strong. The similar weight cotton threads just snap all the time. I just use ordinary glue sticks, as long as they are washable they work just as well and are much, much cheaper. Same for the sew tites, I just use ordinary neodymium magnets. They come in all shapes and sizes, I get the 1/4” round ones that look like watch batteries, I get 50 for £5 on Amazon! I use a piece of template plastic if I am flat back stitching pieces to hold the pieces, again much cheaper than the sewtites set but works just as well. I don’t do flat back stitching very often as I find it too awkward compared to whipstitching. BTW your nails are gorgeous.

Bottom line! That's what it's called. I spaced the name when I was filming so thank you

I’m about to start my first EPP project. In your earlier videos you doubled the thread, do you still do that? You are the only one I watched that did that. I feel that a wonderful idea. Thank you for all the tips and tricks.

Where did you get that piece of plastic that you use to put the magnets and the EPP together?
@cfieldc3 ай бұрын
It's the SewTites Flat Back Stitching English Paper Piecing Palette. The one I ordered came with 3 of the acrylic palettes. I bought to stitch curved pieces 😊

What is the clear plastic thing you used with sewtites for flat back stitching? I prefer whip stitching but I still might need that 😂

Just about to start my very first epp project (when some of these exact notions arrive in this week's mail). Thread conditioner isn't commonly included in these "my go to notions" lists so I wasn't even aware of it. Does it affect the feel of the thread (eg give it a 'slimy' (not the right word) feel?) or is it imperceptible?
@alexandra-zaza-burns4 ай бұрын
It’s not slimy but you can feel the difference in the thread. If you use shorter lengths of thread you don’t need it but it’s handy for using on the ends of the thread when threading the needle.

Your Craftsy link doesn’t work. The charge comes up as $113. There isn’t any code to get the offer.

I just tested it out and it showed the discount for me. In case the code isn't autopopulating, use "a61416" as the coupon code.
