Please come to England and open stores here!! Not in the cities where they have choice but in the towns where all we have is Specsavers and Boots, both with limited choice and high prices. There is only one small privateer in our town who sells just 2 brands with very limited models.

My dad has profound hearing loss. Long story short,1st pair is now a 2yr old signia’s, he could not hear me. Sent them out for warranty, they gave em the Oticon reel2 and he loved them. Soon as he got the signias back, same problems all over again. He said says they are muffled and he could not hear me. We just sent the Signias back for warranty again and he just got the otican reel 2 again, and once again he can hear. So he likes the oticons they work. He has never tried the nexia 9 Okay, I need this answer, as I am the one researching. He is either getting the Oticon Intent 1 or the Nexia 9. We will get them from zip hearing this time. We havent got to try the NEXIA 9. With his hearing loss, should he go with the intent 1? Or the resound 9? You have wore them both. I would really appreciate they input as I am ordering them this week. I saw your review on both. He does have problems with background noise and muffled speach. The oticon reel 2 works so we know the reel 1 or intent 1 will work too and just better. But I wish he could try the nexia 9 as I hear Good things. But we know Oticon reel 2 he can hear so id we go oticon it will be the intent. Last audiologist who has hearind aids said Nexia9 is the best. Our new one ( doesn’t wear Hearing aids) hates nexia. There for sure is a bias with those places. Which ones do you think would be better for him? Nexia 9 or intent 1 he uses iPhone and is 70yrs old.

Thank you for reaching out! As I say in many of my videos, opinions on hearing aids are going to be 100% based on an individual's experience and situation. For me, I certainly prefer the Oticon Intent. However, this is based solely upon my personal experience and level of hearing loss. Seeing as he has already had a wonderful experience with the Real, the Intent should be an even better experience! How is it that Miracle Ear "ME 4" sells for $11.290 but will be $4600 less if I buy "this week" from the "corporate agent" who is in town? is there a price transparency issue here?

That was one of the biggest drawbacks I had with Oticon, they are Apple fixated, makes me think they are owned by Apple. The other thing I hated about them was when I was sitting quietly reading a book, it was making a sound like someone was either at the front door or inside the house by the front door.. Granted this is one of my dogs favorite places to lay, buy every time I heard it which was a lot, he was never there, he was laying outside in the backyard.

I'm still a newbie here. Since you asked. Have you made a video in regard to quality vs cost? A top ten if you will. I wish I could afford these top notch devices but I think that most of us don't have that kind of option especially retirees like myself. Thx!

The directionality portion really got my attention. I’m totally deaf in right ear, can’t be corrected. I’ve had several hearing aids in my left ear which certainly helps to amplify, but I still have zero directionality. In your opinion, would the oticon intent help me to determine directionality???

Did you take reliability into account? I have had nothing but trouble with my Resounds. In to be repaired about every 3-4 weeks. I'm not exagerating.

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your hearing aids! I wish I could test all of these hearing aids in a long-term setting, but that would take months or years to do.
