I love hearing your perspective on all the reality shows. Just so happens I am a horror hound so I was super excited to hear what you recommended. Hereditary def stayed with me. Partially because when I was watching the movie with my friends in the theater on opening Friday, a weekly occurrence, my mother had passed away. When I got out of the theater. I saw a ton of missed calls and a text telling me very directly what happened. So that movie experience definitely has a traumatic memory attached to it - which considering some of the themes in the film - kind of aligned. I heard a lot about Midsommer and after not making time for it after a while - I spoiled myself in what was supposed to be so disturbing about it and then fast forwarded to the “good stuff” but after spooking myself and not allowing the atmosphere to build - I was ultimately let down. For me, I do struggle with slow burns. I had a hard time with The Witch for example. I took note of all your recommendations as I’ve been in the mood for all things spooky and scary since August. The Blair Witch Project had me literally crying from fear at the end. this was the first time this style of movie was done - and there was a website and so I thought this footage was 💯 real. Love the creepy vibes of As Above So Below! I need to rewatch it this month! Longlegs has been on the list so this just confirms the choice. I’ve never heard of The Sadness. Gonna look for it now! I can’t wait for 28 years later! In my opinion the best zombie show is Black Summer (especially the first season) from Netflix. I recommended Talk to Me to EVERYONE! I own it on Blu-ray and I own very little physical media. Cody - I recommend you check out The Barbarian and Oddity (ending was a little meh but super creepy loved the atmosphere). Please keep talking about horror, I’m here for it!

I've watched the first 3 you mentioned and so far i liked 2 out of 3, i didn't care for the second one but the first and third where good, and I'm going to keep going down the list and try to watch them all ...

Between tlc and this list, the venn diagram of our interests is really overlapping wowww 10/10. Pleaseee watch The Killing Of A Sacred Deer (2017) w Barry Keoughan actually lol but it’s the horror movie I always recommend, pretty dark

I saw house on haunted hill around 8 years old. I couldn’t sleep in my bed for a year and a half that movie scarred me for life Edit: the 99 version not 1959 😂

Yes pretty much the same! I love that film. It was so so scary and even ahead of it’s time when it comes to CGI back in 99. I went to a friends house and they ordered it on PPV and I remember being absolutely terrified 😂
