No they do. Hayden Fry was brought in to rebuild the Hawkeye program and he wanted them to have the look of winners. At the time the Steelers were at the top of their game in the nfl. Fry got permission from the Steelers to use their uniforms and Iowa is one of the only College teams with a NFL style jersey.
