FINALLY!!! I've run through and tried so many templates, trying to make them work for me, as a sophomore taking IT Certs simultaneously. This is perfect for both! With very minor tweaks, I'll be able to use this as an all in one dash for both my Certs and Degree classes. Thank you, Chuck!

This video is so fire!! I used OneNote to organize and track my progress for preparing for MS-900. I started strong, spent a whole lot of time typing out the exam topics but I eventually just stopped tracking because it was just so much overhead to stay on top of. This looks awesome though. Looks more intuitive and has some very powerful features. I just started studying for the CCNA and Ill be trying out Notion for the first time. Thanks for putting me on Chuck.

I’ve been using Cherry Tree pretty religiously because it’s one of the best hierarchical note taking programs. After seeing Notion I think it’s definitely worth a try, it could possibly be a replacement:

If your classes have videos, you can even link the video URL or the documents that may be stored in a cloud provider such as Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. They will preview in place and you can simply click them to open then up.

That is impressive! For full time studying I still think printing the overview and crossing sections out with a pencil is more effective, because then I always have those resources with me anyway. But if I'm doing a 10 or 25% course online, this would be very helpful to always be able to slip in and do a little bit of studying.

I am looking for a way to organize my study habbit in IT. I have just started, but I have never had any organizing technique before. I have been hearing about notion for some times now. Today is the day I am switching to notion. I have tried it several times before but hated it because I was too lazy to watch tutorials and tried to just jump in and I got confused. Dude, I just played with Notion for the first time and I love it. It is so much more than a study tool, it is quickly replacing OneNote for me, with a number of advantages like code blocks. I can actually store code snippets with highlighting in a well F*ing WOW!! the possibilities are endless.

Just a small suggestion, you can make your smiley-code a little bit easier to maintain and read if you: 1. Add another column called score to the table with the following code: "if(prop("Lab") == true, 1, 0) + if(prop("Read") == true, 1, 0) + if(prop("Watch") == true, 1, 0) + if(prop("Flash Cards") == true, 1, 0)" 2. Hide this 'Score' column as you don't need it anymore 3. After that change your code from the smiley column / You done? to the following: "if(prop("Score") == 1, "🔥🌚🌚🌚", if(prop("Score") == 2, "🔥🔥🌚🌚", if(prop("Score") == 3, "🔥🔥🔥🌚", if(prop("Score") == 4, "🔥🔥🔥🔥", "🌚🌚🌚🌚"))))" I think that's easier to maintain ;-) But you've put some time in this project...that's for sure!
