My FAVORITE Lures for GIANT Pre Spawn Bass

Me talking about the baits that have produced countless giant bass over the years. I like to keep my bait selection down to just several confidence baits. I feel like getting good at certain lures is better than trying everything on the market. Some baits out there year in and year out flat out consistently catch giants. @ you're very welcome! It's saved me many times from getting skunked haha. Especially if water levels recently dropped, those crawdads have to relocate and bass can take advantage of that !

Hey jay i have like 3 of those jp jigpara 7 gram micro jigs but i was wondering how do you fish them in fresh water?

@@Fishkid4258 you can let them sink out in deeper water where Shad and bass are, slow retrieve them back similar to a cast master. Most of the fish I caught on it were on the surface boiling and I was just casting at them, reeling the lure along the surface. My friend catches them just bouncing it on the bottom too tho 😂😂.

@@ADKyakman there's so many ways to do it 😂😂😂. This is how I like it, I'll fish it the other way too sometimes. You can get away with a smaller hook this way by hooking into the skinniest part of the bait. It being a fat bait this is how I prefer to do it. Have had plenty of days where you lose count on bass with it like that. I started the way you're talking about but since do this instead. Crawdads tend to scurry backwards, sort of what I'm replicating. Nothing but respect tho, appreciate you.
