I didn't know about the Basil helping with digestive system, but knew about peppermint. I use it a lot in tea because of my stomach problems and it is amazing the relief I feel as soon as I start drinking it. I was quite lucky that my tiny garden (in my balcony) started growing peppermint out of nowhere, just as my stomach problems started.

New to your channel and half way through this video im crying. This whole video has brought many memories of my Nana... She was known for making a green tea with basil, mint, rose and whatever berry she had on hand. Typically raspberry or blueberry. She would brew it with all the herbs and tea add a bit of sugar then set it aside to cool , muddled the berries a lil in a glass added ice and poured the tea in.... It was the most refreshing thing on a hot summer day.

Oh wow beautiful choice of herbs! I love rose, especially for baking purposes but I absolutely adore basil! It grows so easily and fast in Greece and we keep different types of basil all around the house for protection. I add basil into most meals because I know it enriches the food (magically and non-magically) in such a unique way! When I'm in Germany I use plenty of peppermint however. I suffer from IBS and peppermint works so goddamn good to relieve me of the pain and bloating, absolute must have for me! Beautiful video!

I’m in Canada and we have such a short growing season that my mission this summer has been to preserve as much basil as humanly possibly in order to not go through “basil withdrawal” during the long winter 🤣

So happy to see you making videos again, just watched your new one on your other channel as well 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I was diagnosed 30 years ago with 3rd stage hiatus hernia/acid reflux (meaning the valve at the base of my esophagus was completely eroded. Peppermint is okay for most gastric situations, but both my years of experience and herbal studies do point out there is a contraindicator for those who suffer some stomach issues. peppermint can actually relax the sphincter muscle which closes off the stomach from the esophagus. This can cause stomach acid to pour back into the esophagus and make heartburn or GERD worse. It helped me a lot when I started my studies and began researching not just benefits, but contraindicators as well. I hope it’s okay to add this, hopefully it might help anyone with acid reflu, heartburn, crones or gerd watching along 🙏🏽🤗

I enjoy your energies and it resonates via the video thank you for helping us to reconnect with the divine spirit and speak our truth as we try and walk together in harmony with Earth she needs our help she is crying. Due to the covid-19 pandemic I have been stranded in India in Goa on a beach and found myself giving back daily to Mother Earth by beach cleaning and helping her breath again the plastic waste and pollution is so sad but feel blessed to give back. @@enigma4200 It depends how dry they are, or in what liquid they are stored. You need to completely dry herbs in order to store them in jars, if you don't want to use liquids. Otherwise, if you use oil, make sure it's kept either frozen, or away from light and in a cool room. You need to consume those much faster.
