The art for Attack on Titan has improved tremendously. The author himself talked about how he was turned down multiple times due to his art style even though they like the story. Right now AoT is one of the most detailed artistic manga out there with best political drama in manga history. Edit: don't search for AoT on YT. Spoilers are infesting the platform.

I'm pretty sure BL refers to all boy's love. The word you were looking for is Shonen-ai, for the sunspots manga. Yaoi is the erotica. Though in Japan they're all synonymous, but initially were all separate and meant how we use them now. You may also like Behind Story (3 vol Shonen-ai).

A recommendation I’d make in Fumetsu no anata he, or in English, To Your Eternity. It’s a story that follows an immortal being throughout his life. Along with being immortal, he can replicate anything that he has come into contact with, and can turn into people who have died, so long as they have made some sort of impression on him. Fairly philosophical/makes you think about the different scenarios and trials he goes through, and more than likely, it’ll make you cry. Was written by the same author that created A Silent Voice. I would highly recommend it, this is one of the first manga that made a huge impact on me, and I binged as much of it as I could and I’ve been following up with updates since I caught up.

The category "BL" isn't just for erotic bits, there are different terms for BL. Shounen ai stories typically focus on the emotional aspects of the relationships while Yaoi typically has a focus on the more sexual aspects
@sriraja88684 жыл бұрын
From literally watching I want to Eat Your Pancreas, I can for sure say it is not a Shoujo. As a male, I found myself crying soo much (trust me, I rarely have cried watching anime). Here is a thought tho, classification of shounen and shoujo is a concept that make certain genders miss out of what they could enjoy but steer away from as they believe it is not for their gender. Many series lie between both Shoujo and Shounen and also Seinen and Josei. There is no reason to classify it as a Shounen or Shoujo. Just state the premise and people who would not read it normally may find themselves intrigued. (Sorry for the ramble)

Best manga is Black Clover - It may seem cliche at the beginning but turns in to an awesome anime - It has get story progression which doesn't go as fast paced as other seasonal shows we fully see these characters develop - It takes the different types of elements from all the biggest animes from the planet and mixes it all to make a total master piece - The art work for the fight scenes are incredible you can actually feel the impact turning the fights its so satisfying not many manga authors are this goof at that i art work - We receive lots of background for other characters which is awesome so we know how they fit to where they are now - Plot Twist get me hyped all the time - Loverable characters - The Power System in Black Clover is on of the greatest ever in the series it makes sense and their not going to buff a characters power for the sake of plot if they are going its either because of teamwork and stratergy or being gifted with extremly high Mana (Mana is the source of the characters power making them able to perform magic attacks) Anyway Black Clover is an awesome manga series and the anime is animating on of the bastard in the series thus they doing a good job adapting it you can watch both aniem and manga (im an anime only i only recommended Black Clover because it's my favourite ongoing anime do i might as well. I 100% recommend to give the series a try its great

Great characters. Fantastic artwork. Very surreal and macabre. I think the one thing that turns people off of it is the overbearing graphic warnings. Even though it's definitely violent, it's also an existential type of drama.

If you haven't already read them, I would so so so so recommend: Witch Hat Atelier, which is extremely sweet and wholesome and atmospheric and the art is GORGEOUS. (Think Moomin or Ghibli genre of just like, comforting, but it's also classified under shonen and has a really dramatic and compelling ongoing plot) Hunter x Hunter, which straight up has the best character writing and development I have read in anything manga or otherwise, the art starts out a little janky but gets better, and as debatably a deconstruction of the shonen genre, the story has a little bit of a slow start to establish the tropes it's deconstructing, but gets SO good. (saying that it has the best character writing i've read makes it sound like i just havent read many things but i have i promise it's actually really good) Bungo Stray Dogs, which is a lot more standard of shonen but might be particularly up your alley because the premise is that the main characters are all themed around classic authors and have superpowers based off their most famous works, and its take on that concept is really interesting imo, I'd love to hear what you think of it. And lastly this is an anime recommendation and not a manga one since the manga for it is bad and follows a completely different story, but as for shoujo, Princess Tutu!!! Subjectively, it's the magical girl genre at it's best, and in spite of being technically a children's show, absolutely manages to sidestep what you complained about in your 7 manga binge video about Sailor Moon coming across as really juvenile (which also applies to a lot of other magical girl series). It's self contained and not very long, and does a lot of really interesting meta stuff. Its premise is literally that the characters are trapped inside a story being manipulated by an in universe omnipotent author, and are trying to steer the story away from the tragic ending he plans to write them into (it's kind of complicated and hard to explain on paper but easy to follow in practice). It's themed around classic ballet and fairytales and incorporates them into its story and that story is just so sweet and the characters are so good and it's themes are incredible 10/10

one piece is a more broad story and while i guess you can say technically writing wise its better its about perspective cause naruto is really about naruto so your enjoyment of the series comes down to fully understanding the author's view and intent through that character and it doesn't try to lie to you and call itself ninja world drawing you in and making you think its a show about this entire ninja world and then really be about just team 7 or konoha, no you know its naruto's and sorta sasuke's story from jump street there is no lying going on in the title and while people may hate that it only focused on him and yet introduced so many characters I think thats on us fans cause the story is called just naruto and thus we should not expect it to focus on anyone else really..its about naruto becoming a hero when he should of been a villain and his rival turned teammate sasuke who should be a hero but becomes a villain and its a pretty basic story in that light and i actually prefer it personally to one piece it touches me more but one piece for its genre may be the best shonnen story cause it really gives a fuck about other characters and drama plot events worldbuilding not just about luffy/his crew they just are apart of this insane ride... and one piece is funner but to be fair one piece annoys me structure wise more than anything its the same arcs repeating themselves and I just get bored by that the way the tournament in dragonball lost its value once we got to z...I get it they go to island beat a big bad fix things..maybe pick up a crew mate..once the timeskip occurred the show really dipped imo...I like moments but after marineford it just sorta became really dragged out and cliché...I do prefer it before then but imo shippuden got better once we got past the first couple arcs and improved on original naruto as a narrative and one piece post timeskip has hurt the narrative..just my take...yeah I prefer shippuden from the hidan kakazu arc through the end of the war more than what came before it in original naruto and early shippuden while I think most of post timeskip one piece is pretty boring and dragged out filler...fishman island punk hazard dressrosa whole cake so far wano even ...have any of these long ass arcs really done anything?...I get more out of zou return to sabaoady and levely then I do this long shit...my goodness ..wish one piece was more concise arc wise and did more unique things with its arcs like it does with its minny arcs,...it sometimes just feels like a quota being filled where as naruto felt unique each arc felt different enough
