Happy BD, Mr.Jason! Ford vs Ferrari is also my favorite film of 2019 and it’s like Rocky of motorsports. It was very informative on the technical aspects of the sport, and highlighting Carrol Shelby and Ken Mike’s contributions. The movie shows how it’s not just the driver or the car that wins the race, but the winning combination of both…which it does much better than Days of Thunder lol!

After seeing you talk about The Long Kiss Goodnight earlier i put it to the top of my watch list because I love action films, and Geena Davies, and Samuel L Jackson are two of my favourite actors. I just watched it, i love it, and it's earned a place in my top 100 movie list, currently at 59 between Jaws, and The Last Boy Scout.

I'm so glad you put the original Terminator as your favourite. I'm not that old but when I was 9 my dad and I went to the dvd store and we bought discs of terminator 1 and 2. And then one day we sat down and watched it together, my dad wanted us to watch T2 because he thought I was too young to watch the first one but I insisted we watch the first one. So we sat down and watched it and I was blown away. Even though I was young I was hooked, I loved Arnold as the villain and there wasn’t a single moment where I got up to do something else. I just sat there and watched. Then when me and my dad watched T2, I actually thought it was underwhelming because everyone kept telling me how much better T2 was. Even my teachers who I was friends with said T2 was way better. But honestly I wasn’t feeling it, it's a very good movie but even with more action and better effects it didn’t blow me away as much as the first one did. Even to this day everyone insists that terminator 2 is way better and that I just didn’t understand it somehow. But I have watched analysis videos on both movies and I have to say I still prefer Terminator 1. Recently I rewatched terminator 1 by myself after 10 years and it still blows me away

Great list! My favorites from each year I've been alive are: 1998- The Big Lebowski 1999- Godzilla 2000: Millennium (The Matrix is the best film of 1999, but Godzilla 2000 was the film that my dad introduced me to at 4 years old that shaped my love for film and later history). 2000- Gladiator 2001- Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack 2002- Spider-Man 2003- X2: X-Men United 2004- The Incredibles 2005- King Kong 2006- Rocky Balboa 2007- 300 2008- The Dark Knight (My favorite comic book movie) 2009- Zombieland 2010- Inception 2011- Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol 2012- The Avengers 2013- The Conjuring 2014- Godzilla 2015- Mad Max: Fury Road 2016- The Nice Guys 2017- Logan (My second favorite comic book movie) 2018- Incredibles 2 2019- Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Doctor Sleep (I love both for different reasons. KOTM is flawed, but it's a fun film for fans of the franchise. The use of Akira Ifukube's Godzilla theme and Yuji Koseki's Mothra themes were great, and it's still cool to me that we are in an era where we get American Godzilla films with King Ghidorah, Rodan, Mothra, and later Mechagodzilla and King Kong. Doctor Sleep isn't flawed, and it had the Herculean task with following up The Shining, regarded as one of the best horror films ever made. It was just a great film.) 2020- The Invisible Man 2021- Ghostbusters: Afterlife (Not only was this a great Ghostbusters film, but the story and ending really hit me hard because the film was released shortly after my grandfather died and I was very close to him to and I am very similar in personality to him (similar to Egon and Phoebe). I also watched the film for the first time the night before my grandmother died.) 2022- Top Gun: Maverick 2023- Godzilla Minus One 2024- Dune Part Two (We're not too far into the year, but I doubt there will be any film to top Dune: Part Two this year.)

My favorites for 2005 was Batman Begins and King Kong, which I felt was a colossal remake of the original. Kong fought only one T-Rex in the original but Peter Jackson generously tossed 3 at Kong, and sometimes I’d rewatch the movie from that point to the end due to its length lol.

Great choices Jason🎉 I still need to see some of these films. Here is my favorite films from my birth year onward: 1993: Cannibal! The musical In a year when BIG hits like Schindlers List and Jurassic Park came out This comedy by Trey stone and Matt Parker is about one of the Funniest movies I’d ever seen It’s a frontier era musical that has Cannibalism. If you haven’t seen it, I’d recommend it. Plus it has a song about building a Snowman LONG before Disney’s Frozen. 1994: Pulp Fiction 1995: Ace Ventura When Nature Calls..Shakika! 1996: Scream (I know but I love this franchise). 1997: It’s a tough call between Good will Hunting and Titanic 😮 1998: Mulan 1999: Big Daddy 2000: American Psycho 2001: Shrek 2002: Scooby Doo 2003:House of a 1000 corpses 2004: Spider-Man 2 2005: King Kong 2006: Talledega Nights 2007: No country for old men 2008: ? 2009: The Blind side 2010: Easy A 2011: Diary of a Wimpy kid: Rodrick Rules. 2012: The Avengers 2013: Her 2014: The Guest 2015: Bone Tomahawk 2016: Deadpool 2017: Split 2018: Upgrade 2019: Us 2020: Soul 2021: The Night House 2022: The Batman 2023: family switch

The rock or Independence Day should be your favorite from 1996 not a travesty from Renny Harlin that is otherwise a mediocre film if not among his worst and isn’t your favorite from 2001 and 2003 supposed to be lord of the rings.
