Last year we bought a latex bed thru SavvyRest, plus 2 kapok pillows. You're SO right about them providing extra! I had enough kapok to fill 3 queen size pillows + a bolster too. The quality of fabrics & craftsmanship of sewing was excellent on everything. Very nice folks.

I have just received my Birch Living all natural mattress. I am so happy that there isn't anything harmful that I'm breathing in or have to wait for the smell of off gassing to stop. I have an all natural New Zealand wool pillow and am very happy with that.

Great! Hope you like them! I'd suggest Kapok as a great alternative to feather pillows. Use the Savvy Rest link in the comments and look for their kapok pillow.

I fell in love with kapok & will never use down again. It re-fluffs so nicely. It's naturally resistant to mites, so I don't have to opt for a synthetic hypoallergenic case. We used to have to replace down pillows annually. Even the the expensive goose down would go flat & retain too much moisture. Ethically, there's just no comparison. Kapok is one of those natural wonders!

Hey, there! I'm interested in purchasing a Savvy pillow, but they don't sell pillow cases. Do you have any recommendations on where I can buy an organic pillow case that is safe and that will fit a Savvy pillow?

I am so glad I found your review on pillows. A while back you recommended a topper for me that has worked out great for comfort, but am now shopping for a pillow for myself, as well as for my daughter. We are combination sleepers - back & side. I plan on choosing either the Savvy or the Naturepedic. Do you sleep on a standard or queen size? I have always slept on a standard size and liked this size, but wonder if a queen size would help me to be more pain free?

That makes me so happy! Glad the topper worked for you! I sleep on a standard size pillow. I honestly love both the Savvy Rest and the Naturepedic ones. As you might know, I've tested a lot of pillows! These two are hands down the best. I personally have kept the Naturepedic one, while my husband has taken the Savvy Rest pillow. It's a bit thicker and higher in loft for him which works well, but I could easily have taken out stuffing to have it work better for me. I do have a buying guide for body pillows coming out in just a day or two. Body pillows can help alleviate pain for some circumstances. Hi Kim.. I bought the two-in-one organic latex pillow from naturopedic and it's starting to clump and no matter how I fluff it it stays clumpy now. Do you have a recommendation on how to unclump a shredded latex pillow? I would love to see a video from you on how to properly fluff your pillows. That's very hard to find for organic materials.

Mark, that's an excellent question. I have had mine three years and just started noticing it clumping. I'll need to look into the answer for that.

I am allergic to latex so would I have a reaction to this pillow? Also allergic to wool

I’m not sure which pillows you might be referring to, since I’ve reviewed a lot of them in this video. If you are allergic to both latex and wool, have you tried a kapok pillow?

The latex used in pillows and mattress is not the same that’s used in gloves or bandaids. So you shouldn’t have a problem but definitely test it out! Some brands have trial periods and some will even send you samples of the materials to hold and see if you react.

Doesn't anyone use pillow cases anymore? So many of these pillows aren't washable, I can't imagine sleeping directly on the pillow over without a separate pillow case.
