Gladiator worked like a charm for me. R3 was able to Burst him down in a single special 1.

Yeah would imagine gladiator is good due to him being able to heavy at any time

@@Alfie065the fight is still difficult 6/10 times the ai will just not allow you to play gladiator properly and that goes for any matchup unfortunately because his intimidate is not 100% potency plus you need to find an opening first which kills time and sometimes results in getting hit because of the janky interaction between both gladiators and arnims medium attacks.. intercepting with the correct timing more often than not just isn’t working and I want my r3 gladiator to be the best counter because he literally should be but for that to happen kabam would need to adjust blue nazis animations. Can you see that happening? I can’t

He'll be on stun immune nodes for the most part if i had to guess. They'll probably have him as a defender in a spring of sorrow type of fight where they'll make stun immune and give him a grit passive lol. Gonna suck. They'll be selling counters later in the year im sure.

he has plenty of counters as is.

@grandtheftaudio6386 i didn't say there weren't any. There's a handful but the way it works is they release a 5/5 defender then release a soft counter or 2 and then a hard counter probably later this year. That's the pattern.

@@chosen2123 thats how gachas workd but tbh the only 2 "problematic" parts of his kit are his damage limit and his disintegrate. I believe only him and F.Antman are the only 2 champs in the game that use disintegrate atm? and damage caps arent really put in place to have a champ come in and break it, Id say we probably wont see a "hard counter" sold for Zola. Like I said plenty of champs already available that solve majority of his kit.

@grandtheftaudio6386 I'm willing to bet that we will. They've released hard counters for defenders who aren't as powerful as he is. It's just the way they do business. Create a problem. Sell a solution. They've already hinted at a disintegrate immune champ coming to the game. I'm willing to bet he'll be a cosmic who may be a soft counter for a part of his kit. Then another who probably deals true damage to counter another part of his kit. They always release a hard counter later. We haven't even gottten to see him on nasty nodes in AW or in BG. Or possibly in a spring of suffering type of fight where he's unblockable and has a bunch of other nodes. They create these type of defenders with kits we haven't seen before so they can create 3 new champs off of 1 defender. It's what they do and I dont see that changing just bc there's a handful of champs that can deal with him.

@@chosen2123 ive heard nor seen no hints of it and considering there are only 2 champs who use disintegrate and both happen to be in the tech class, i doubt it.
