I'm pretty sure that his last flight, flying alone far behind enemy lines on low altitude, considering his darker mood, was a suicidal run to face a heros death. His last word kaput can be about himself that he was broken and couldn't handle it anymore.

due to his injuries on his head over several years, he couldnt think realistically, and when he saw a pilot kill one of his closest friends he just broke fully, even if he killed the piliot he wouldve died anyways.

@@convue4112 didn't the pilot just attack his friend (who was actually his cousin) and he intervined? I don't think his cousin died from the attack. @drigerdranzer7514 I think it was, considering he was violating many of the doctrines that he had learnt and taught Jasta 11. He flew too low, was behind enemy lines, and had pursued the Camel for too long. All of which his teachings were against.

as I know they wanted him to retire him and he became the lieder if the airforce that he refused was probly luck of the 2 world war with he was highly intelligent and could have made serios problems and to say again first war was not like the second it was war with country that all shouted out hurra war german was just a normal country like all others only if you are middle of other coutrys you say strike first or die hmmmm didnt usa was threatend by cuba and nearly started a very bad war.you have to read history to realy understand and to it the german king was quite a idiot that is again to read in history
