Thanks a lot I really enjoy building planes I have only bought a couple planes and as soon as I tried building my own I was hooked I just love designing and testing my own ideas out and watching them either succeed or fail plus when I crash it only cost me a few dollars and a few hours to build a new one as long as it don't break any electrical components. There are still several really nice planes I do want to buy hopefully this summer!!

@@FlyTimeRC that's great, I only built a flite test kit so far plus some 3d printed ones in different stages. I finally found a place to buy foam board and hopefully I can build more soon.

@@A.M.-RC flite test planes are awesome. I've built 4, one I haven't flown yet. But loved them! I've got some videos of the few I have flown so far. 100% worth the money and time to get them in the air.

Neat little flyer. Personally I like best the planes that are not white knuckle flyers due to cost. I gave up on the hobby after being in it since 1979 twelve years ago because it had become buying new planes that was exciting and no longer the fun of learning to fly. Flight controllers and scratch building small 400 mm wing span or micro flyers brought me back.

This plane is the only plane I have that is somewhat hard to fly but it makes it more fun!! Luckily all of my planes are made from dollar store foam board. So 99% of the time it's super cheap to build a new plane. Plus it's just fun to build and try new designs! Happy to have you along for the ride. We have a lot of fun with this hobby. We are still pretty new. Less than a year. But I think we will stick with it for a long time!

@@FlyTimeRC I had lousy luck with foamboard from dollar store. But, it was because I built a profile plane and the paper delaminated at the wing connection. In your build style I have one similar. Not sure if it will fly yet. Needs trimmed. Made wing from a 1 inch lowe's square of green foam. Made it for STOL. Might have over done it. One and only flight in late November saw it go nearly straight up until I stalled it. Not exactly promising & hoping too much lift on the wing can be corrected with trim.

@@migalito1955 ya I can see with a profile plane like that the paper can come apart. In my builds spots like the wing and horizontal stab I take off the paper so it's foam to foam. So far I've had great luck with my builds. Maybe your STOL plane could use more down angle. With that much lift it should make for a great STOL plane once you get all the kinks ironed out!

@@FlyTimeRC oops on me. You know, I've been meaning to buy some 40 watt drivers and make a nice set but have always spent my spare change on other than soeaker drivers.
