I have been really loving Night Owl Lacquer and their new jelly neon collection. I’m currently wearing Dragon Fruit, its so neon and squishy, I love it! I’ve actually worn it twice now which is saying something with all the polishes I’ve acquired from PPU and HHC.

I haven’t purchased any 2024 Summer polishes yet. It’s time to put it away soon but I just discovered Orly’s Kaleidoscope Eyes. Also loving OPI’S Coca-Cola Red and Strawberry Margaritas and NOL’s The Polished Mage. I don’t know when any of them came out but they’re new to me and I’m loving them!

One of my colors has been the Sea Between because I have been putting those colors together separately and this is just one polish! That’s been happening a lot lately-they are mixing in the flakies so maybe one day I can stop buying the toppers so much! Lol!😊

For the Orly coral polish, you should try that as your base color then a black tip like a French mani with those colors. All nice colors you chose

I think my fave green is lost in the woods by Holo Taco. I'm sure people wouldn't think of it as a "summer" color, but I don't think of nail polish in seasons. If I like a color, I like to wear it no matter what season it is. 😂

To me Sour Note sits in between Ethel & All In, just with a different shimmer under all that holo. What do you think since you have them in person to compare?? Crushed holo green skittle, anyone??

I'd say Sour Note is a much more blue toned green and more full coverage whereas the other two are more on the jellylike side but buildable! I think they'd still work together tho! 🥰🥰

I am very jealous of the Orly Ulta exclusives! They are gorgeous and I can't get them in the UK. 😭 The Melting Point collection is amazing though! 🔥I love the colours and the shimmer. It occurred to me the other day that their main spring collection has five shimmers and one cream, and the summer one is the other way round. I wonder how they plan and decide what colours to create?

I bought Glisten to Your Heart from nail swatches I'd seen - it's a pretty & unique color. You are really making me want ILNP's Bare. Wonder how it would look against my skin tone. It looks similar to some from their 9 to 5 collection that I was contemplating. I even checked your channel to see if you did a swatch review of that collection to compare. :) Nail polish purchasing consists of such hard decisions!

Alloy Matey is so pretty. Have you noticed any staining with the breathable line? My nails stain so easily . I have to use multiple base coats to prevent it. But that’ll defeat the purpose of “breathable” and its benefits.

Honestly my nails are pretty oily so I'm not prone to staining, but it has been known to happen with greens and blues - but I haven't had any staining with green or blue breathables! Maybe you can do a test with just one nail like your pinky to see if it gives you any issues 😅

If you're enjoying The Sopranos, I'd recommend another HBO show called Boardwalk Empire. It's a bit of a different vibe as a 1920s prohibition show, but the organized crime aspect has a similar energy. Also it takes place mainly in Atlantic City, so if you're enjoying the New Jersey-isms of the Sopranos you mignt enjoy Boardwalk Empire for its Jersey-centric plot. Definitely recommend you're a fan of historical fiction.

HBO show recommendation: Watchmen, if you haven't seen it. It's only one season, so it's not a huge time committment and it's just incredible. It's based on the graphic novel, but you don't need to have read it (or seen the 2009 movie) to appreciate it. It's a masterclass in grounded science fiction storytelling.

Oh, it is BRIGHT! 😎 It's a gorgeous shade! I love eye searing colours in the summer. Something I've discovered is that some neon pigments in nail polish fluoresce under UV light, even if it's not marketed as being UV reactive. A fun side effect of this is they look brighter in sunlight. 😊

Its kinda weird seeing a fave video for summer already when its only been 15 days of the first month of summer. Especially given its still spring temperatures out so far here. The summer releases aren't even done coming out yet, only just got the last of the spring stuff showing up. The most summery colours are still on pre-order until mid to late July here. I'd not expect a round up of faves until the end of August.

My current mani is using 5 polishes from Glisten & Glow. They're described as "bleached neons" and they are more pastel leaning tones but still true neon polishes. Then on top of them I've got a coat of We Trippy (Cirque Colours) for a holo shimmer and then KB Shimmer Scratch That on top of all that. And I'm excited to receive Cirque Colours High Society and I might try to get their Sour Punch polish too.
