What I like about Emil is that he plays perhaps as well as Tommy Emmanuel.? At least I thought so. Emil has worked hard in recent years to become a master on guitar. Should have had the badge from CGP "*Certified guitar player"*.from Chet Atkins 🎼🎸 Anyway.. Emil plays more varied music which I love🤠

Great playing. However, I challenge you to play the next tune, whatever you choose, without adding these needless harmonics you seem to rely on in every video.
@EmilErnebroGuitar12 күн бұрын
@@gianni2k I don’t rely on them.. it’s just part of how I express myself on the guitar. It’s interesting to me that some people seem to critique a performance based on technique rather than listening to the notes. If a piano player would perform this song, and playing higher notes in spaces where they want to embellish a chord - you’d never see a comment like; you seem to rely on playing higher notes sometime. 😄
@gianni2k12 күн бұрын
@@EmilErnebroGuitar Fair enough, everyone should be free to express themselves as they wish. I'm just personally getting bored of this sound, it seems too frequent. I wish I could see something new from great players like yourself that I could steal. But it´s a personal taste so who cares I guess.
@EmilErnebroGuitar12 күн бұрын
@@gianni2k Maybe check out some players that are unique in their approach to the guitar.. check out Julian Lage, Lenny Breau, Ted Greene... (Ted and Lenny of course use a lot of harmonics but the way that they play is way different.. unique and incredible)
