Nice video thanks ! ...but doesn't a Hudd have more of a vortex tail instead of a boot-tail style tail?
@geoffreythekingfishing5 жыл бұрын
big Guy I’ve heard hudds be called boot tail style and vortex, I normally say boot tail out of habit but yes, the tail design is called vortex!
@MatthiasWorch3 жыл бұрын
@@geoffreythekingfishing Every conversation I’ve had, the Huddleston is a “wedge tail”. It goes up and down, looks like a wedge (a little bit less on a Hud since it flares out, but same shape as i.e. a glide bait, which are all wedge tails). A “boot tail” only goes one direction (down) and looks literally like a boot. Tournament Talon is a perfect example, you stand that bait up and the tail looks like a boot. So in my world, a Hud is never a boot tail. Does it matter? Not really :) I enjoyed the video!

You would be surprised at the results of throwing those styles of baits. They don’t work quite as well as soft baits, but trust me, you don’t have to fish as slow as everyone tells you to in the winter!
@WeeWoo935 жыл бұрын
kushcrumbleshatter1990 not as effective as other big baits is what I’m saying. I’m sure if you throw a glide bait for an entire winter you’ll find a bite, but no it’s not the most productive thing to throw in the super cold months. But that’s just my experience

Sometimes albino trout get thrown into the tanks to be stocked and they usually get hammered pretty quick, that could be what they see that mother as. At least here in Nevada you’ll see quite a bit of albinos swimming around right after they stock.
