I love hearing you appreciate all the details in the woodworking of the furniture, it's really the little things that make it home!

Right?! It was quite the find! 😊

Omg, I swear my mother had that exact same side table for a while. Sanding it a bit and refinishing it would totally fix that stain.

No way!! Yeah, it definitely just needs a good stain or polish. I polished it years ago and that did the trick. So, we'll see what works! 😊

I have a 100+ year old armoire we use as a downstairs coat closet. It's gorgeous and we only paid $40 for it. My husband hauled it all by himself out of their house and into ours. It's super heavy. Has drawers, a coat rack and shelves. It's perfect for our coats, shoes, towels in the summer, sun screen, hats everything!

That is awesome! What a great deal! Sounds like it can hold a lot and it's probably super high quality! Amazing!!

Facebook Marketplace for second-hand furniture is my LIFE! I can't wait to go home and slowly get cool pieces to make my room feel like home! I love all of these but the couch is my fav!!

Love that!! It's such a great place to find furniture! I can't wait to hear about how you decorate your new place. The couch is pretty fun! Thanks for watching, Jasmina!! 😊

It's comfortable because they actually used to make quality pieces for average people. I love your space! Very similar to my style

Yes! I wish that was the case these days. Yayyy! So glad we have similar styles!! 😊 Thanks for watching!!

We just moved to a bigger house. We have about 50% of what we need/want, but I can still use some accent tables, shelving, etc. I’m hoping to find it all second hand! But so far, in our first week, I’ve only found baskets, a mirror, and a couple wall-mount shelves. I know I just need to be patient!

Congrats on the move! That's awesome that you're gonna be looking at second hand stuff first! Yayyy! That's so great. Having patience is the hardest part. I see so many room transformations online happen in such a short amount of time. But with buying things used, it always takes much longer to find the right pieces. But, it's totally worth it haha!! 😊 Thanks so much for watching!

So cute! I have a dresser and a nightstand from my great grandparents! They passed it down the family and now I have them. They do have such character and I could never part with them!!

Ahhh that's awesome! Definitely hold on to them if you can!! 😊 Thanks for watching!

I was very fortunate to have been given my grandmother's pieces when she passed. She was a lover of mid century. Your chair you have is very similar to mine :) I have a late 1930's or early 1940's bedroom set with carved wood. It's gorgeous. I have been thrifting since I was 17, (30 years!) So I have found so many great finds :) love you vids :)

Literally all the furniture in my house was second hand... Then my new landlord bought the house and insisted on changing the furniture 🙃
@StrollingThroughLife2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome!! But a big bummer with the landlord changing the furniture!!
