@@thepigcat76 TS solves many of the JS issues though and I'd want to use Rust only for the performance gains on the server. The issue in the video is not about the language or server code but the overly convoluted use of JS/TS on the client side rather.

I think react compiler is such a great tool. Can’t wait to try it out, thanks Josh. Btw I am currently trying to record some videos of my own. Which screen recording software do you use on your Mac? Cheers
@joshtriedcoding6 ай бұрын
awesome man, go for it!! the software is called screen studio, but its not that great for longer videos because it takes pretty long to render. I'd hope there is an OBS equivalent for mac, OBS is probably one of the best softwares out there

@@joshtriedcoding If you want a great optimized version of OBS for Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel) there's StreamLabs, which is a fork of OBS but adds commercial stupid things but it's not mandatory to buy anything when you use it.

I'll probably put it to an ultimate performance test by making some incremental game in react. Traditionally this was an absolutely awful option due to all the rerenders 20 times a second, but maybe the compiler can handle that. Definitely not for production though XD

Is there any concern with the React compiler actually causing apps to run slower because of the memory used in the automatic caching?

JSX is pretty useful and react is a time saver. But this new direction seems to be a bit too magical for me. What react compiler does should have been react’s default behaviour.😅
