Happy New Year! Which one would you recommend as the lightest density? Candace, Drive or Carrie lite? Thank You.
@micheleswigreviews2 жыл бұрын
Hi Laurae! These are all beautiful, low density styles but very different. I only have Candace and Drive. I have never owned Carrie Lite. Candace is lower density than Drive. If you look at the weight of each piece, Candace (3.75 oz), Drive (4.5 oz), and Carrie Lite (4.1 oz), it seems that Candace would be the lowest density of the three. Be sure to look at each cap construction and keep in mind there is a big difference between synthetic, heat friendly synthetic, and human hair. There are definitely pros and cons to each. I never though Gabore wigs were that nice. I never look at that brand. What are your favorite brands that have comfortable, quality lace? Mesmerized is fabulous on you 😊❤️🙏
@micheleswigreviews2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa, thanks so much!😀The new Gabor Designer series is definitely in a different league!👏Regarding the lace, I don't have a sensitivity to it and so I have not noticed much of a difference between the brands I have tried. Just FYI, here are several ways you can try to make the lace more comfortable: 1. make sure your wig is not too tight or too loose, 2. trim the lace a bit, 3. add a piece of clear silicone scar tape to the underside of the lace to act as a barrier between the lace and your skin, 4. use an adhesive (Walker Lace Front wig tape - use JR's Lace Let Go to remove the tape, Got2B spray, or It Stays) - this helps stop any small movements that can be irritating, or 5. use a wig grip or cap. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!💖

Please explain what means lace front
@micheleswigreviews2 жыл бұрын
Hi Angie! A lace front is part of a wig cap. Not all wigs have lace fronts. Basically, a lace front is a sheer lace material at the front hairline. Wig fibers or hairs are hand-tied into the lace front. This allows you to have a more natural appearing hairline. Hope this helps!💖

Too thin. I don’t like low density
@micheleswigreviews2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sophia! There are a few ways you can make your lace front feel more comfortable. One way is to trim it a bit. Another trick is to add a piece of clear silicone scar tape to the underside of the lace. I recently added a small piece of silicone scar tape to a scratchy portion of a lace front and it solved the problem. Lastly, you can try using an adhesive for lace fronts to prevent the lace from moving at all - this will also help it feel less scratchy.💖

@@micheleswigreviews I do but it’s a pain. Oh it’s supposed to be so natural. I don’t see the difference and when you cut it you risk a lot of hair coming with it. Oh God another wig, get out the scissors and try not to destroy it. Not loving it! You can cut till you are blue in the face and there will still be discomfort with some little piece.
