DC-30 is my favorite tube amp, and probably the beat amp built in history. To be in the same room as a hot driven Matchless is just special, and first timers are always shocked. Nice playing and great demo

I notice in all your videos and preset demos, etc, you just tweak the amp settings and never use the pre amp boost? Do you prefer the rawer sounds produced w/o the boost? I find it rounds out the sound and just adjust output vols. I use a strat as well.

just dialed up the Matchbox Chiefman preset on FM9 - not exactly what your'e talking about but sounds great with very little tweaking -some really singing timbres.
