Welcome back to my channel 🙂 In this short video I take you with me as we spend the day at the beach. Balsamar has been a favourite beach of mine for many years now. Probably because I have so many memories here. One of the first times I visited El Salvador we came to Balsamar and I fell in love with it. Love the videos Kathryn. What's the safety like these days in El Salvador? I'm considering a trip there in April. It looks like such a beautiful country!

Hey! Thanks so much for watching 🙂 I really appreciate your kind note! I have never personally felt unsafe here, however I do travel around the country with locals who know the area and the places that are safe. My husbands family live here so we travel in groups as well. Like with any other country just be aware and try to connect with a local here to guide you on where to go. A good friend of mine visited El Salvador not too long ago and she stayed in El Tunco which is a bohemian surf community about 40 minutes outside of San Salvador and it’s safe to walk around as there are many other local travellers there. I will be posting the next video about this place too. It is such a beautiful country! I highly recommend coming here :) just make sure to connect with a local here if your able, or stay in El Tunco a few nights to get acquainted here in a safe community. People are so kind, I’m sure you will receive lots of support when you arrive 🙂 hope this helps

Iwas in el CUCO san miguel .that is very nice place..

Some tips thay may work if you come ...get sun filter..is the tropic..do not drink water from the tap..always bottled...stay away from zones of burglar and crime...do not wear jewels in the downtown of the capital city..to move inside the country get a reliable car or transport..bring light garments for the day...and some formal attire for the night....be very welcome..enjoy..😀..

Hi there! Thanks so much for your comment 🙂 you have to call ahead/ you have to know someone who has a pass who can get you in as a guest, that’s what we did. otherwise you would have to be a member of this club to enter. If you are able to get in, you just simply need to call ahead, provide your number ID and then book the ranch :) yes it has several bathrooms and you can order food from the restaurant that is there. It’s so beautiful 🤩
