Jemma, you need to go to Japan! The sweets and pastries in Japan are a lot of time French influenced but Japanized in a very unique way, and also played out with fruits from different Seasons. I am absolutely sure that every sweet lover will enjoy the offerings in Japan, you gotta come here someday!

Did not expect filipino food to be represented though I did dare to dream when I saw the purple thumbnail. And bam. Bilog. Meaning round in filipino. Nice. Looks yummy too. The flan was always my fav part of halo halo and in some places they also put some ube paste on top. Good stuff.

Loved this video and really shows how confident you are about your own products to praise other bakeries. It also shows what a generous and unselfish person you are, which is also reflected in others from your shop shine in your videos. Great to see the bond between you and Sally as well. That was so much fun. I love trying new foods but I'm not as brave as I should be. Seeing all the things you tried makes me want to jump on a plane and fly over to London and go to all those places to try all the yummy things. In Malaysia (I'm not sure about other Asian countries) we add pandan leaves when cooking rice. It gives a really good fragrance in rice.

Golden Gate Cake Shop is the one 🙌 I think most Chinese people know that Golden Gate is the bakery to visit and I’m so glad that you recommend it too!! Might I recommend their triangle sponge cakes with the cream filling, they are my absolute favourite!! ☺️

My boyfriend and I became obsessed with bubble Tea in New York. Omg I love love love them! Dear Lawd Jemma, how did you guys not burst? I tried doing something similar at disneyland in LA with their desserts and I almost burst. I visited C&D in July, then went to Santa de Nata and then Pierre Herme in Covent Garden. I walked past Maitre Choux but thought it might be pushing my sugar intake. I will have to add it to my list when I do my yearly visit to C&D next July.
