Just found your video/channel by chance, and love it! I had randomly found the perfect brownie pink lipstick by Bobbi Brown a few years ago, which of course, somehow disappeared, and of course, I have no idea what it was called!! So have been on a very frustrating and seemingly never ending search to find a replacement, and so far, no luck... Even though the ones I have bought look great on the display, not so much on my lips, usually being either too light of a pink, too purple or grayish but your video was super helpful, definitely think Mac’s Whirl, Urban Decay’s 1993, or Charlotte Tilbury’s Iconic Nude could be the one, lol! Maybe even Kevin Aucoin’s Medium (Wonder if Sephora still sells his line?)... Thanks again for such a great video, I just started my first KZbin channel, This & TAT, and am now in the process of filming my videos, exciting but a little scary, if mi e turn out half as great as yours, I’ll be thrilled! Thank you for this! I have very similar lip color to you the very pale lips and fair skin so it's like the lips blend in with the face. It's so frustrating, I feel like I always need something on my lips! So I think everything will look very similar on me so this helps! I thought whirl would be too dark but I actually love it! I think I'll be grabbing it tomorrow! I really want the Loreal 1 but in the US they don't make ones like that! I really wish they'd show the equivalent if they have 1 on their site or something!!!!

I love the pillow talk lip duo! I have been using the lipstick ever since it came out (I bought it right on a launch date!) and the lip liner for 4+ years. I cannot forsee a situation when I don't have them in my life in the nearest future (def the next 5 years)

I have a ton of liners and I never use them cuz they're all slightly different but non of them really work for my light olive skin tone. They're either too pink or too pale or too brown. I'm dying to buy CT pillow talk but think I should get iconic nude instead or pillow talk medium. Idk. Thanks for the video it was super helpful and you look stunning in all the shades :)

I'm watching this trying to decide which lipliner to shop for my wedding day...It's either charlotte tilbury iconic nude or the Loreal beige a nu. I really tried to watch this my eyes really judging which would look the best, and the CT iconic nude was the first of the browny options that didn't cast an orangey shade around the lips... I don't like the orange hue because it gives me the image of "I just drank hot chocolate and some evidence is still left around my mouth". You didn't do this, but some youtubers overline the outer corners such way that they look like they just ate a chocolate cake! Oh, lip lining is such of an art to master. That is the reason why I haven't even done that regularly, but when it's your wedding, you kind of want to use it to make your lipstick stay on better...or if it rubs off, the liner still defines the lips. Checking the images from the CT liner from CT's website the shade looked so brown that I was definitely afraid that it might be too much, but it really seems that I enjoy the more browny shade of the iconic nude better than the pinkish nude of the pillow talk shade...I'm drawn toward CT liners because someone said that they won't move anywhere from your lips.

The L'Oreal lipliner appears to have been discontinued, at least in the US. L'Oreal doesn't carry Beige a Nu (630) on its website, and Walmart and Target throw up a different shade. I spent some time yesterday hunting. It's sold on Amazon for $10, but is it past its date, and is it authentic?

You have the exact same taste in lip liners as I do and I don’t like wearing lipstick I only like lip liners for the whole lip and I’d wear all of these probably. My fave is actually drug store cause I go through them like crazy and it’s just NYX natural. It pulls a little more of the orangey brown but I love it
