My Favourite Games from the AI and Games Jam 2022

Congratulations once again to everyone who participated in this years jam. Some fantastic work in there and I've thoroughly enjoyed checking out everyone's games. Be sure to check out all the entries and my let's play videos over on my second channel, which is over 2 hours of me playing the jam submissions. All the links are in the video description. Apologies to anyone whose game I have not played or included in the video. I had planned to play more of these, but I sadly got ill (COVID) in November and I was off from work and making videos for a few weeks. So I instead focused on only the top 50%. But there are still some games in there I really want to try out!

Thanks for nice comments on Alone in the Dark. Thanks for the constructive criticism on your other video also. It was just my second jam I mismanaged the focus, so the game has a lot of mechanics, but still some bugs and it lacks polish. Still it was a great experience and it feels rewarding to have nice feedback about it. Maybe I'll upload the updated/improved version and follow up on it.

You're always welcome regardless of experience or time to commit. Even if you use it just as an opportunity to do a tutorial and learn how to do something for the first time, it's time well spent!

I really enjoyed the jam! I had a good time making my game While Vampires Sleep and learnt a lot, thanks for organising it. I got into the top 50% but couldn't see WVS on your linked videos - did you have a chance to have a look at it? Were there any issues running it? I would've loved to hear your feedback, it was a big reason I did this jam

Oh yes actually I meant to mention in the longplay video I had a lot of trouble getting the game to run. I'd love to try it out as I really liked the sound of it.
