Insane dynamics. Sounds as close as it gets I guess (without him actually playing it). Loved the video!

I wish I would have seen this video before ordering my Ceriatone OTS20 lunchbox dumble! I have a 30 watt attenuator which is why I got the 20W Ceriatone but if I saw this video first I woulda sprung out the more money for a 100W attenuator and gone with the JM50! Great playing, great dynamics, great touch; you really make this amp sing! Only things you're missing are a TS10 and a Klon Centaur (or maybe a Ceriatone Centura, hah!)

Ahh man these things happen! I’m sure you’ll enjoy the one you’ve gotten. Technically the duellist is a tube screamer, but a real one would be cool! Thanks for watching :)

@@tastee_licks_thomas Funny enough, since making this comment I sold my OTS20 and bought a JM50! It's absolutely killer and such a great amplifier :)

Just how loud is this thing?! Great playing and tone!! Not sure how you don't have more subscribers.
@johnmundt78343 жыл бұрын
I had the 50 watt for a little while. It could get really loud if you drive it, but I thought it sounded great at very reasonable volume. I’m sure the 100 is louder, but I doubt by that much
@tastee_licks_thomas3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! So 50 watts and 100 aren’t that far apart to be honest, definitely loud enough for all occasions! It shines around 7 on the master, but still sounds great all round! Thanks for watching!

Have you experimented with open and closed back cabs with the JM? Trying to get some insight on it, I have one on the way. I have the 65’s, just curious to here opinions about the cab type
@tastee_licks_thomas3 жыл бұрын
I’m actually planning to build an open back cab for the JM, but as of this reply I haven’t actually gotten the chance to use one, although because of how direct the dumble sound can be I believe that an open back would suit this amp quite well. Good luck with your amp! I’m sure you’ll love it!

Wow man! Sounds great. Are you attenuating or what are you doing to mitigate the volume?

The tones were so tasty, however, why d'you use the reverb on the HX stomp rather than the inbuilt spring reverb ? was there something wrong with it or did you just prefer the HX ?
@tastee_licks_thomas3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! I find the reverb to be a little too quiet on the amp, so I run both amp reverb and some from my stomp at the same time! Gives it a different character where sometimes the hx reverb gets a little distorted but there’s still the clarity of the built in spring tank!!!

Hey man, it all varies on each song, but I tend to work around everything at noon, maybe scoop the mids slightly and add some bass as well! Thanks for watching!
